Nice setup!

I like them! I am looking at this exact set up, for my solid red Z.

what size tires are you currently running in your last set of pics?

HArturo319 12-29-2012 01:18 AM

Not my style but you're ahead of me on the mod race

Not everyones style but I'm very happy with it. Me personally would love a set of nismo wheels but tires are so expensive that I just couldn't justify buying them for the price of some higher aftermarket wheels. Plus these are even lighter then the Nismo wheels so very happy about that!

Did they come with centercaps or no, can't be 100% sure with no wheel close up pics.

I love these wheels.

Thanks! They did not come with the centercaps....They were $40 each lol. They also will not work with hub centric rings as the center caps are the type that go through the backside of the wheel. For now, I will stay with the hub centric rings but will quite possibly order the caps eventually.

So if you order the $40 caps, will they work with the rings... or since they come through the wheel do they work as center cap and rings?

They will not work with the rings and unfortunately no, they do not double as rings which is why I opted for just the hub rings for now. The lugs seem to seat well enough to where I'm sure there will be no vibration without the rings but $40 EACH for center caps or $1.37 each ring? Plus I had to buy the wife a big present for Christmas so she was priority lol

Of course. :tiphat:

If I get a set of these, they will be track wheels only so it won't be a big deal and I'd just get the rings as well. I just think that's crap when you get wheels like these or the TE37SL's that look so good, but then have that wheel hub center sticking out that imo ruins it. :(

thanks! the lower pics have the spacer on and help trekondously to finish the look. i didnt feel like running excessive amounts of camber to squeeze the 9.5 +10 up front so the spacer was the best way to go for me. with kh effective offset up front now being at +20 with a 15mm spacer, i still get a little rubbing on bjg bumps which hints that i made a good decsion to go higher offset with spacer. I'm nof as ballsy and some of you other fellas out there lol.:bowrofl:

Have you thought about a smaller side wall (less flex, less weight, and less rubbing)

I think that has to do with the sidewall being larger than oem 19".

chrischhorn 12-29-2012 05:30 PM

i am going smaller next set. a 255/40 or a 245/45 or even a 265/35 but yeah a smaller sidewall is in the works for the next set. itll be a while lol. i can live with the rubbing on big bumps right now as they should be noted as "massive" bumps more so then big lol.
