nogoodname 12-09-2008 06:33 PM

I'm going to try that when I go to my Nissan dealership.

"So, I hear these rims can open beer bottles, can you confirms this?"

AK370Z 12-09-2008 07:46 PM

Def sports rims! Many people who hated the new Z  still loved the sports package rims. These rims are very nice in person I was told. I do like them. The base is VERY similar to the older Z rims. I would like to see new design rims on a new car ;)

nogoodname 12-09-2008 10:48 PM

thanks for the rep points my unknown friend !! who so ever you are

G in ny 12-10-2008 12:07 AM

Def sport. Non sport brakes are FTL. and oem 18s are no better then the 19s like it or hate them

Minicobra1 12-10-2008 04:32 AM

The sport rims look way better in person, I may powder coat them satin black, so the V thing wont be as noticable. Either way, they look good in person and fit the lines of the car, decent design for a stock rim.

nogoodname 12-10-2008 03:52 PM

^^ Satin Black would look nice for it !!!

looks like you are into black rims for any car by the looks of ur avatar

bboypuertoroc 12-10-2008 04:18 PM

I don't like either design.

nogoodname 12-10-2008 09:16 PM

^^ vote for "I am undecided....lol "....then...hahaha

sensi09 12-10-2008 11:21 PM

The non-sport rims are actually pretty decent, but I'd opt for the sports package for everything else it offers.

If you don't like the sport rims you could likely get pretty decent money for them, especially if you sell them early on. Also the tire sizes are sufficient in size to transplant them onto aftermarket wheels.

CrownR426 12-10-2008 11:49 PM

Sports Package is still deciding...
I def. want Touring + Navi though.
I wana slap on some volks or gios!
:D
And those non-sport rims would look alright powder coated black.
Which is what I'll be doing possibly.
BUT I really want that Sport Mode*rev match*

SnakeBitten 12-11-2008 04:55 AM

I would have to chose the sport rims for the weight and ability to fit 275+ tire sizes on the rears and possibly wider on the front....As far as looks neither one is a real looker imho....

cow 12-11-2008 07:44 AM

"I'm still undecided."

I'll reserve judgment until I see them both in person. I think they're pretty awful in pictures, though.

Precisely what I would do.

RCZ 12-11-2008 03:43 PM

sports package all the way.

zsport1 12-14-2008 04:44 PM

I think I'll go aftermarket wheels.

Slidefox 12-14-2008 05:04 PM

Aftermarket for sure...

z350boy 12-14-2008 05:49 PM

To the haters I'm sorry to say...the Sports rims are the only way to go!!! Saw the new Z Saturday @ GT Spec on L.I. I'm really falling for it...especially in Yellow!!!!

nogoodname 12-15-2008 09:34 AM

^^ in the pics, both rims look ugly.....the non-sport looks cheap and the sport ones look like the ends of crow-bars...beer bottle openers....lol

I'll have to wait and check out a Z in person

but one thing for sure, no way for yellow...lol

diskreet 12-15-2008 02:53 PM

I personally like the Sport wheels, and the base ones look perfect for winter.

shumby 12-15-2008 03:00 PM

you got to go sport.

nogoodname 12-15-2008 03:02 PM

^^^ I want super sport

shumby 12-15-2008 03:05 PM

^^^ I know your a non sport type of guy. ;)

nogoodname 12-15-2008 03:07 PM

^^ I had no choice, the dealership got 3 cars and 2 of them were MT....so i had to take the non-sport Journey model

shumby 12-15-2008 03:12 PM

it is ok you don't have to explane yourself to me. lol

nogoodname 12-15-2008 03:13 PM

Okay Yakov Smirnoff. :D "In Country of Canada, Car picks you."

18rgcelica73 12-16-2008 01:26 PM

Seeing as how I wont be adding new wheels to this car and the sport ones are in fact 20% lighter than the non-sport wheels. I actually really like the wheels matches the car nicely.

370z 12-16-2008 05:20 PM

man... how i wish we could choose aftermarket wheels when ordering.

Volks, Works..... SSR...damn...

nogoodname 12-16-2008 05:26 PM

^^ too good to be true

18rgcelica73 12-16-2008 06:47 PM

Yeah too bad real life isn't like need for speed huh. Let's go shopping for some wheels.

dsmz 12-20-2008 12:30 AM

the "v" is actually a 3 dimensional Z if looked at properly :)

18rgcelica73 12-21-2008 02:36 PM

^ Yes they are, they have a great artistic look to them that I am really diggin'

Some dealers offer aftermarket wheels when ordering, but will be much more expensive.

2k6-z33 12-25-2008 09:15 PM

I'm going non-sport wheels are only gonna be mounted for a couple of weeks.
