I would personally have to say that having two different compounds/brands isn't the cause - I run Bridgestone Potenza S-04 PP summer tires in the front, and Bridgestone Potenza RE970AS all season tires in the rear. The stiff side wall of the front summer tires keeps the car planted hard on the road and on the highway, it's rock solid. I chose the all season for the rear since I drive well over 20k miles a year.

On the other hand, V12's have crappy soft sidewalls, and that's what I think the issue is.
