Aftermarket wheels with NO drop

What are people's opinions on this? I always feel like it will look bad to have rims at the stock ride height, but I cannot lower my car at all because there is no way I could go up my driveway if it was even an inch lower. Wanting to get some Forgestar F14's but not sure how it will look with no drop. Anybody have pics?

I would love to lower my car but it just isn't practical for me.

I think that looks great tony. What size tires are you running on the fronts and backs?

What about using the KW HLS system or maybe even full Air will an Accu-level system, and AirRex bags and struts you can go up to get in your driveway and back to your drive height the system also will counteract weight changes... IMO dont put wheels on unless your gonna drop it.

It looks like a 4x4... idk

No Harsh feelings just trying to reply to ops post with other solutions.

My avant garde m310 look great on stock height with 255/305 tire setup. I may eventually get swifts just to make it look exceptional.

kenchan 07-21-2012 09:18 PM

My car is stock height. As long as you use offset 32 or higher with 9" width on the front it will look fine. If you use 9.5" width 38 or higher.

Otherwise the tires stick out too far when looked at the car from the front.

Rear 15 if 10.5" width. Stick with 19's. 20's will look too short on the sidewall vs wheel gap.

Monster wheel gappeth son! :ugh2:

It can look completely fine not to drop the car and still use aftermarket wheels you just need to get a fatter tire onto the wheel to makeup for the gap.

I would recommend the following setup:

19x9.5 (+22) 265-35-19
19x10.5 (+12) 295-35-19 or 305-35-19
