No big lips on outside for me; as I have 7” backspace on front & 8” rear’s...Front spacing is 4” Front & 5” Rear.

Aftermarket wheels with NO drop
 

I plan on lowering mine, and I hate the monster truck look, so far the z34 isn’t to bad for it. So just trying to decide coils or wheels first. I know I want something with at least a 3” lip. So just want to see if anyone’s got anything similar

I'm looking to get some cr2p wheels. 19x9.5 in the front, and 19x10.5 in the rear with stock ride height. Any ideas on what the offset should be? I'm not trying to have massive wheel gap I just want it to look flush with the fender.

+23 or so in the rear
+30 in the front.

1. Place a strait edge across the front of your stock rims, and measure from straight edge to the fender to find out how much you need to move out.

2. Input your stock rims and tires into the calculator. Print off both front and rear for reference.

3. Input your desired set up and change the offset until the rim is sticking out as far as your earlier measurement.



Don't be surprised that you can not find a rim with the exact offset you need. But a few mm off will not be noticeable.

IMO, it's not about aftermarket wheels but not using rubber bands for tires.

All jokes aside you do what you want to do! If you don't want coils or lowering springs, then screw anyone who says otherwise. I remember when I was told to put spacers on my car to fill the wheel gap out. I just lol'd for two reasons - 1) No replacement for tire displacement and 2) Structural integrity. Bonus - most people who told me to do "this or that" drove nothing or their parents cars and putting two step systems on them. "LuK aT mY tWo sTep bRoOoO"

There are people who track their cars who run aggressive wheel specs with functional rubber. In fact, the common setup is 18x10.5 +18ish with 275 or 285 square

Your stock height setup is just that. A stock height setup. Let's not pretend to be hip and special

Depends on the tires. If I want to move my rim 20mm (for example) outward
The calculator shows 19x10.5 ET15 with tires 285/35
in case wider tire 305/30 offset needs to be +25

Yes of course, if the tire is wider, you do not need as low of an offset.

Also different tire manufacturers have a different side wall profiles. PSS have a flat side wall profile which does not stick out much. The same size tire in a different make, might stick out more due to a different side wall profile. The calculator does not take this into an account.

cool thread guys and good timing as Im in the market. After reading thru Im settling on F+30/R+15 with stock height. Can anyone comment on full suspension compression and clearance?
