Bronze or Gold MESH design is me all day.

if i want to keep it simple, Chrome Lip on 5 Spoke BLACK rims.

Just FYI the Takata Green is not an available color from Volk anymore. It was a limited time color and unless you know someone privately selling them you won't be able to get them anymore. They are not available for special order at all. This may help you to make a decision.

^even though some hate on it, i liked colored wheels. i have a set of "takata green" wheels i have yet to put on my sti because i havnt had the money to buy freaking tires yet.

its different strokes for different folks, but i like color. it can set you apart and be different.

This is the new look. Black/gold/white/silver/gunmetal wheels are on their way out. In the next few years time attack and track cars will replace show cars. Agressive aero will replace smooth subtle body kits. Bright in your face colors will replace the monotone black/silver/white. Lap times will replace 1/4 mile times. It will be no headliner, not suede headliner. Wings not spoilers. 1-piece wheels, not 3-piece wheels. Viva la revolution!

I think the days of big body kits is gone, simple clean cars will never be out of style. Most show cars are just wanna be track cars anyway from what all the shows look like now, just a bunch of racing parts on a car that never sees the road.

Completely agree. I have been into this look for a while now..clean and simple.

except maybe the headliner thing..gotta have my sound deadening headliner haha. Also, that big aero has been done which is why we're at subtle unless you go wide body and don't DD the thing because otherwise it's just not practical.

Not big aero, functional aero.

To me, functional aero is just as practical for daily driving as handling mods. You drive through air on the way to work just like you drive through air on a race track. If you think that functional aero is useless on the street then the same point can be argued for sway bars, coilovers, chassis braces, etc.

Functional aero at what cost? When someone brings functional aero to the street and the car ends up looking like Megatron, then, no I'm sorry. Air on the street with peds/other motorists, should not be funneled through your aero kits the same way it would be on a track. Air on the street will move exactly the same way around your car as it will on the track. People walking on the sidewalks will have no effect on the air traveling over your car. Being around other cars will have the same effect on aero that it does on the track when you are in traffic. If you are referring to when you are in heavy traffic then you aren't able to use your power or handling mods either so they are all rice? Its up to you whether you like a certain style or not and nobody is trying to change your mind, but to call someone out and say that their mods are "rice" when they are indeed functional is kinda stupid in my opinion. Just because you don't like the style of functional aero doesn't mean that it shouldn't be done.

And as far as today's styling trends always being "in". People said the same thing about mini trucks in 1993.

At least hes not putting carbon fiber overlays on his car to make it seem like he has CF body parts. This is the ultimate form of posing, yet it's very widely accepted on this forum(IMO, unfortunately).

So if you guys accept people faking things that they don't have, I say let him make his rims green. At least he is not making his body panels look like something its not.

If only you guys were so outspoken against carbon fiber overlays...
