It may be totally unrelated, but in my old S-10 the pitman arm and idler arm were both old and worn out, turned out there was some flex going on when I would turn the wheel. I could be going straight and hit a slight bump and my truck would jump in a different direction. There's a small chance it could be your steering components, but it sounds like it's just your bigger, grippier new tires :)

How are they different tread? Are you sure they are even the same tire front and rear?

When I get my next set of DD tires, I'll switch to a 265/285 setup. |
OP, if you've already made a similar thread on the same topic, no need for a 2nd thread bud. :ugh2:

Op, Both threads have been merged since there is no reason to have two threads on the same topic. |
To the moderators...sorry, I wasnt sure if my first post got buried and I left out tire sizes and the fact that there were some miles on the new rears which I thought couldve been at issue.
To the responders...Thanks again, more responses are helpful. Pretty sure I just need to run it a while and recheck everything. The good news is this car should handle fine with stock tires, its not a car design issue. Thanks again! |
