Those running negative offsets

Just a thread for negative offsets

I want to see what tire combo and suspensions you guys are running.

I'm running -15 in the rear. No spacer. 265-30 tire...picked up aspire 265-35 to help with exhaust scrapping :( want to run a 275-35

Baer383 12-11-2011 11:01 PM

I have 20x9.5 +17 w/255/30/20 front
20x11 +5 w/305/25/20 rear
BC er coilovers w/swift racing springs

The only thing rubbing is my F.I. on my driveway.:shakes head:

Ni55anPat 12-11-2011 11:07 PM

It is the 25 series sidewall! Looks good though man... Mind sharing the specs on the 57's? They look great.

Ni55anPat 12-12-2011 09:55 AM

Hey Baer those are pics with the -10 and 17?

19x9. +10
19x10. -15

Still deciding on tire sizes. Just want to run with more meat.

I will be putting a 5mm spacer front and back more then likely

+17 in front
+5 in back

Ni55anPat 12-12-2011 10:33 AM

Very nice. I'm thinking I could squeeze a 295 or 285 back there

Juruki 12-12-2011 10:56 AM

Hey your setup is almost the same as my previous WedSports in the rear (i had a 25mm spacer). Dunno how much my car is dropped but i had almost no gap between my rear tire and the fender. I also had -3 camber in the rear and was still rubbing bad on steep driveways.

I think you could run a 275 but it depends on how low your car is and how much camber you are willing to run.

These are the best pics of the rear fitment i could find for you:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...i/3fa081d2.jpg

This pic was before i got an alignment at -2 camber but its just to show you how a 275 fits on a 10.5in wheel

Hope this helps

Ni55anPat 12-12-2011 12:17 PM

So my dreams of a 305-30 is out the door haha.

Flushnismo 12-12-2011 12:25 PM

Baer do you have any rear shots to show how much it sticks out? I'm only running a +12 front and -5 on the back with -2.5 camber and it looks like I poke more? Maybe I'm just seeing things.

Here is a pic of +0 on the back before I put the 5mm spacer..

Juruki 12-12-2011 12:30 PM

^^ how much camber is that?

daisuke149 12-12-2011 01:32 PM

bullitt5897 12-12-2011 01:57 PM

Yeah, looking at the front fitment it cant be a 9.5 -17

Ni55anPat 12-12-2011 02:31 PM

That's what I thought. My +10 look similar

TypeOne 12-12-2011 02:36 PM

^^^ I agree.

No way that is -17.

I've got +15 in the front and it's enough.

http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f3...Z/db97b58d.jpg

http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f3...Z/ffc7e042.jpg

9.5 +15 Front
10.5 +0 Rear

I'm also running a 295/30 now, and in the pic is a 285/35. No rubbing on the rear at all... ever.

Ni55anPat 12-12-2011 02:56 PM

I'm gonna have to test fit the 305-30. Maybe I'll do it Friday.

Thinking it will stick out to much with the -15.

Ni55anPat 12-12-2011 02:57 PM

What tire u runnin up front ?

TypeOne 12-12-2011 04:59 PM

I'm going to stay 245... or go with 255 maybe in the front.

Next tire purchase will be 305/30 for sure. I'm not even close to rubbing in the rear...

Ni55anPat 12-12-2011 05:05 PM

I will test fit the 305 Friday. I'll post up some pics when I slap it on

I don't think it will work without ALOT of camber And sticking out

Baer383 12-12-2011 07:21 PM

I posted the wrong info on my wheels (sorry percocet will do that):bowrofl:

corbin09 12-13-2011 09:28 AM

I am running + 15 f and -10 rear on 18's.... damn I need bigger wheels. The 18s just dont fill out the wheel well like the 19s.

Haha. I know what you mean. I'm running 18x10 +15 all around with a 30mm spacer in the rear. I think 19's are the best compromise between form and function.
