Why didn't you like the 275 up front? Just curious.

OEM bridgestone was more sticky I'd say, I am afraid that I made a wrong choice for my new set of tires.
Will it be better after certain number of driving miles?
Road noise reduced significantly, but when I wanted to enjoy some corners with 2nd gear (30-40 mph) w/o VDC on, I suddenly lost control. I had no issue with OEM tires.

please do yourself and others on the road a favor. Leave VDC on for a while.

Thank you.

I am not crazy enough or have a strong heart to do it on the road.

I tried that off road, empty parking lot

first, tire sticks out too much in my taste.
second, steering wheel feels heavier than stock.

Looks good but they scrape fender so easily
I'd rather give up the looks than having worries everytime i pass speed bumpers

Thechidz 11-27-2011 10:52 AM

is your suspension lowered? I have the same size and they dont scrape?

Thechidz 11-27-2011 10:54 AM

edit: sorry I actually have 255 on front.

happytheman 11-28-2011 12:03 AM

I must say that I'm torn between 265 or 255 up front..but totally sold on 305 for the rear.

hankooks aren't built for corners. read the reviews out there on different forums and you'll see that the sidewalls are soft. Not sure if this has caused you to think that you're slipping a bit?...just saying..

They are getting better as they are wearing out (I've ridden 600 miles on them) but not as sticky as stock tires.
I already placed on order Re-11, and I will be using Hankook until they arrive.
I wish D/C tires carry 19' R-S3
