Oh, and you know why wheel locks don't do anything?

Gator Grip ETC-200MO Universal Socket:Amazon:Home Improvement

They can only MAYBE slow the thieves down...

Be like me, a prick who has 3 wheel locks... (Just don't track on 3 sets of wheel locks)

What about the ones made by Nissan? (OK made by someone else, but sold as OEM?)

Can anyone explain the difference between the 999W2-JT000 and the 999W2-Z3409?

-Z3409 Nissan Flat Washer Style Wheel Lock. considering the serial number ends with "Z34" and "09" would lead me to believe this is the one to use...... which it is

-JT000 the web sites say its a Nissan Flat Washer Style Wheel Lock but images of them have no washer.

bottom line there is some kind of missinformation going on with descriptions.

Made by McGard
Those are great as "locks" because they were designed for the car

Can you be a little clearer? Why is locks in quotes? I ordered a set of the 999W2-JT000 locking lug nuts and want to know if they are just as good as the Z3409 ones.

OK went by Nissan stealership near me and the Z3409 wouldn't come up in their system. Only the -JT000, so I ordered a pack of the JT000.
Maybe the parts counter guys don't know how to use their system? Dunno.

Supposed to come in Wed, they'll call me....yeah right haha.

I'll let you all know if they fit. My original incorrect ones came loose easily so I know they weren't Impact wrenched - or they used a calibrated one.

I say "locks" because they're bull, if someone wants your wheels he'll take them, if a wheel lock slows him down, he'll back back the next day with a tow truck

I just got the 999W2-JT000 for the 2013 nismo 370z. Parts dept told me these will work. Really hope they don't break off.

Would 2 sets of the oem wheel locks be better? should you take them off while tracking?? Thanks in advance.

ALL the locks do is slow down the guy wanting to steal your wheels. By how much, not a lot honestly, but yeah for daily driving 2 would be better

For tracking I'd take all of them off

DEpointfive0 03-22-2013 06:50 PM

If a thief wants your wheels, he'll get them

If your locks slow him down, he'll steal the whole car
