what size tire is that?

oleg 11-18-2011 09:38 AM

How's the handling with that fat of wheels and tires?

Vince@R/T 11-18-2011 10:45 AM

Not sure if i saw it all together in one post, but what is the full specs on this set up.

wheel sizes and offsets
Tires Sizes
FTG (Fender to ground) measurement
and alignment specs

Its good to compile all this info for the community so it takes the guess work out for people and they get what they are looking for.

Tried this already... these guys don't want to share all of the info.

Vince@R/T 11-18-2011 11:49 AM

^^^ Oh...I see...well the info will eventually get out there.

W.O.W. 370Z 11-18-2011 12:15 PM

We will share once video is done.

UAM is the keeper of internal /secret offsets. I share my work . :)

hmm not too many choices when you have that size tire. hopefully the tires give you the traction you need.

dirTy_shoeZ 11-18-2011 03:42 PM

You have the wheel size/width... Tire size... Go do some math ;)

W.O.W. 370Z 11-18-2011 07:42 PM

Doing your own research and trial and error, who does that?

I like to be spoon fed

Vince@R/T 11-19-2011 08:00 AM

Its really not about being spoon fed, when ya get into the scene of wheel fitment and such people post specs of their set up. Its like when people post dyno graphs they will list the mods it took to get them to that point, they just dont post the graph and say here ya go...

Either way I have a pretty good idea of the wheel sizing and all, car looks great and when he lowers it a lil more it will look amazing.

ohno 11-19-2011 08:03 AM

Dope!!!

I am all about sharing.

Many people including vendors on here don't share offsets as if they are proprietary or something.

Once video is done all info will be shared. As I will be changing it up anyways.

Even though so many said it was not possible. :-)

I am confused by the trial and error statement . Are you suggesting than an average joe buy some wheels and tires , put them on the car and then say" hmm that didn't work" kick them aside and order a new set up? Why bother posting if you aren't gonna share basic info that you HAD to Expect was going to get asked.

On that not i'll give you what you clearly posted for. Grats car looks cool gonna have a massive footprint , tracktion should be a none issue

Ron 11-19-2011 10:06 AM

He did say he was gonna share... when the video is out.. so hang in there.

The issue is timing of sharing info not that I am not sharing it.

Ask UAM if they share info.

If a company wants to do a video and have the chance to promote their set up before they tell everybody i can understand and repect that. I didn't realize you were working with a company on this.

nice pics!!! but you have got to be rubbing in the rear... your pocking tire at least a half inch...

No rubbing. :)

And that's with just H&R springs and stock shocks.

Coilovers go on this week. Stiffen it up a bit.

urvokbm 11-20-2011 02:05 PM

Flawless execution brother. The fitment is DEAD on. And just from a quick glance I can see that there are no rubbing issues, that tire is tucking into the fender with millimeters of clearance.

dirTy_shoeZ 11-21-2011 03:59 PM

i think the front could be a little lower, and maybe even a little more poke if you wanted to get crazy, i personally think the secret here is that 25 series sidewall ;)

W.O.W. 370Z 11-21-2011 07:45 PM

Going to do coilovers to go lower.

:)

Not sure why either. Comes with the territory when you try something new and succeed.

3 other 370z's will have similar setups soon now.

Must have done something right.:tiphat:

Ni55anPat 11-22-2011 12:33 PM

For sure bro.

I'm running a 19x10 with -20 offset. Trying to figure out what's the biggest tire I can run haha

Depends on what you are going for based on looks, function, etc.

dirTy_shoeZ 11-22-2011 12:54 PM

id say....i like the tire/fitment but im a 19" wheel guy myself. im thinking along the lines of a nice 19" and a 315 out back :). i dont see a 345 working on a 19 with a 30 sidewall and looking good.

That's a tall tire (27.2).

The few 315's I have seen on 370s look good. I have seen some that look horrible especially the 30 sidewalls.

Ron 11-22-2011 02:19 PM

how about 325s?

Only one 370z and that's Daisuke. His looks good. I would ditch the wheels though.
