haha for which wheels did you do research, the ones for your 370z? made in china and weight more than my OEM nismos.

or the 300zx RPF01's that 80% of 300zx owners have.

hide187 10-20-2011 05:41 PM

From what I know. No modifications. Just -3 camber and right offsets.

98intrigue 10-20-2011 11:00 PM

RPF-01s are light, but not that cheap... You want to talk cheap, I got my Saleen replica wheels for $140 per wheel. They are 18x10, but not so light. They got the job done at the track last time though.

I don't have a 450 whp single turbo on my Z to make up for the extra weight though :roflpuke2:

There is one pic posted. That's all for now.

But if you really want to...

Buy some 345/25/20 and throw em on your car. Then take some pictures and post em.

I'm just saying...

TypeOne 10-21-2011 03:42 PM

LOL Not mad brah brah

I'll just make a thread about the wheels that I got but ain't gonna post no pics, then wait for people to comment.

Besides, I don't have to because I already know they won't fit without major work.

Just saying.

W.O.W. 370Z 10-21-2011 04:58 PM

You must really wanna see a pic. what's the prize if it fits within stock fenders and no modification to the body?

I kinda wanna send you the picture

**** it....

When it was test fitted. Stock camber and H&R springs.

Springs are coming off and coilovers coming on. Need to mess with camber and stiffen up suspension.

No fenders pulled,rolled ,nada.

Im just saying. :)

stock camber as in factory specs?

370zFORme!! 10-22-2011 08:57 AM

Ive said it once, ill say it again, the 370z can fit almost any wheel lol

W.O.W. 370Z 10-22-2011 08:57 AM

correct

going to fiddle with camber and suspension once front tires come in

Kingbaby 10-22-2011 09:11 AM

I was talking about the rim specs...

TonySlimfast 10-23-2011 03:52 PM

are the wheels specs different from the wheels you had with the white spokes??

W.O.W. 370Z 10-24-2011 09:37 AM

Same specs as my Kranson Forged 20x13 +26

Those will be up for sale soon.

TonySlimfast 10-26-2011 05:43 PM

i heard about those wheels on the dyno... what did you do about the tires?

The tires are fine. The one tire that came off just fell off the wheel on the dyno. No tears or damage to the tire. It's a miracle nothing happened to the wheel ,tire or Jnaut, he was standing right by it.

TypeOne 10-27-2011 04:31 PM

More pics coming? Angle from the back? How far do they stick out?

Planning to drop it any more?

W.O.W. 370Z 10-29-2011 11:20 AM

Once front tires come in and wheels are mounted will have more pics.

Wowzers!:ugh2:

P.S. I saw your car at Jnaut's shop when I bought his exhaust. It looked good. Of course it was when your car was in pieces though lol.

Pretty scary how it happened.

I am hoping now with proper fitting tires I won't have any second thoughts with the wheel and tire combo.

How does the FI exhuast sound?

Footloose301 10-30-2011 03:20 PM

I love it. Sounds great with the Motordyne ART pipes. The exhaust is still only temp until mine gets a TT around Feb/March time.

Awesome man. You will be in good hands with Jason once you do TT.

Spec Jay 10-30-2011 04:01 PM

345 is going to be useless with -3 camber. lol done that before and was barely using 3/4 of the tire on the street and still wasn't using all of it during autocross.

Pics of -3 camber and 345s?

Edit: Where did I say it was -3 camber. Wholeeoh is speculating.
It is at stock camber specs in that pic. That is my starting point. Taking it from there.

Don't forget to post pics of 345 and -3 camber.

Does this look like -3 camber? :icon17:

W.O.W. 370Z 10-30-2011 04:36 PM

Here is some perspective:

-5 degrees of camber on a 245/35/19. Way too much camber on a relatively narrow tire.
