Okay so not on the bolts but the back of the spacer that is in contact with the hub?

Im pretty sure this question has been answerd.... SORRY, but i have stock 19"rays I want 20mm spacers all around and swift springs... I should have no problem with rubbing right... Ive seen around forum that there is no problem.. Just confirm.. thank you guys

Finally installed the H&R 20 mm front and 25 mm rear bolt-on spacers. Quality is so much better than the Ichiba V2s I ran on my 350Z. Installation was a breeze with zero issues. Now, if only the Swift springs would get here a little faster. Here some before and after pics:

Any issues with vibration at high speeds??? With those 25mm

/Angelo350Z/ 02-22-2013 05:03 PM

No problems whatsoever. As long as they're installed properly there won't be any issues.

^^Beautiful!! Any particular reason you went with the stud replacement up front rather than keeping it bolt-on spacers all around??

ZForce 02-28-2013 03:55 PM

^ Thanks, at the time back in 2009 - H&R did not manufacture 20mm bolt on spacers for our cars. You guys now picking up 20mm's are lucky !

jaytwitch 03-01-2013 01:30 PM

Do you need alignment after you install spacers? 20mm all around?

NO. Only when you lower the car are you messing with the alignment.

can anyone verify the spare tire will work on either end of the car with 20mm front and 25mm rears?

pfdaxe 03-27-2013 11:11 PM

I'm installing some new shoes and the rears are 19x10.5 +25 with 305/35-19 Pilot Sport. I'm debating adding either a 10mm or 15mm spacer. My question is this; if I install the 10mm and decide I need the extra 5mm, could I just "add" a 5mm spacer or do I (should I) just replace with a 15mm?

Word of advice go with 20s or 25s. 305s are already a lil wide so they will poke out, but 15s are still gonna have a lil sunken look. Unless you arent going for the full flush? Also are you lowered? If so the larger spacers look better on them. Im running 20s and 25s on19s and they are perfect with 255-305 hankook V12s

I'm lowered on TEIN S-Techs. I have 25mm now with stock Rays. I put the new shoes on and it stuck way out. I pulled the 25s off and I purchased some 10mm nylon spacers at the hardware store to experiment, and it pokes a bit. I'm also running a -1.2 camber.

I noticed your on stock Rays, so 20-25 would be perfect. That's what I had. But my offset is different (+25 vs.+30 on the Rays) and my rims are 10.5 vs. 10.

I'll post a pic tomorrow....

I ran the numbers and I'm picking up a set of H&R 10mm on the way home from work.....

I measured what a 15mm would look like and it looked like too much poke.

Yeah im lowered on tein s tech and really? dam well, I guess your defintion of poke is diff then mine. :icon17:

Here take a look with 25 in the back, its sitting perfect flush. So I would think a 10-15mm would be still look a lil sunken. But yeah your offests are diff as well as your diameter. Well post a pic when you are done anyways. :tiphat:

nighthalox 03-28-2013 04:28 PM

Will I need to change the configuration of the weights on my wheels if I add spacers? I ask because after getting my wheels powder coated the added weights to balance the wheel.

This is a 19x10.5 +25 with 10mm spacer and Michelin 305/30-19 lowered on TEINS. I think it sits about right. The side wall all around pokes a bit and a bit of the tread at the top. Fronts aren't on yet....

can anyone confirm whether or not the spare tire will fit with 20mm front and 25mm rear wheel spacers? if it won't fit i wont have any issue pulling that extra weight out of the car.

I dont think there are any issues with using spare tire on spacers

Stud Length

I currently have 10mm spacers, but purchased a set of H&R 15mm DRS spacers (want more poke) from a forum member that didn't come with the extended studs. I picked up a set of Ichiba studs from Conceptz and they stated they would work, but they appear too long for use with closed end lugs. Does anyone know the correct length stud to use and/or a part number?

Thanks :tiphat:

Do your 10's use stock studs?

No. They came with longer studs, but I don't know if they'll work with the extra 5mm. I don't have the 15mm yet, but wanted a head start with the studs.

I have 265/40/19 and 295/35/19. Most people go for lower sidewall.

Could I go 20front and 25 rear with no rubbing? (Lowered on teins)

or maybe go 20 front and 22 rear :P??

Thank you

Yes. Pretty close to what I was running with no rubbing. I had the same size spacers with 255/40 & 285/35

Hey just curious if the 25mm or the 20mm spacers cause your tires to sling dirt and water up on the side of your car?

thanks for the info, ive been searching for that answer for like 2 days jeje.

were you lowered when you had 20 25?

When you say it wont rub you mean daily drive or never? becasue Ill be going to the track with this setup and id hate to rub on full load. Maybe then ill get 17 front and 22 rear :) but id like to go the most agressive without rubbing (even on the track) Maybe 22 front and 25 rear.

what you think?

thanks pfdaxe

Never rubbed and I am lowered on TEIN S-Tech springs. Mine is for street use and never on a track. Here's a pic (I have different rims now though):
