Upgrading to 19 OEMs. Will i need anything?

Hi I'm new to this whole changing the car thing, i bought a set of slightly used OEM 19in Rays from the forums and i was wondering will i need

Default Upgrading to 19 OEMs. Will i need anything?

Hi I'm new to this whole changing the car thing, i bought a set of slightly used OEM 19in Rays from the forums and i was wondering will i need to order anything else before bringing them to the local garage to bolt them on?

You will need at least 5 other Z's..






No nothing else is needed for 19" OEM's btw..

No. The spacers have to do with the bigger brakes on the sport package. I'm guessing by your title you had the 18's thus the smaller brakes on the non sport package. Not all wheels will clear a bigger brake kit so you need spacers to push the wheel out farther.

Spacers on the OEM 19's are 100% for personal taste, they are not needed to clear the sport brakes at all.

If you go aftermarket BBK it might be necessary but not for the Akebonos

I've had FBNISSAN confirm for me that the stock 18" wheels will clear the sports package brakes. No spacers needed there at all.

Yes, I've posted that for others in the past. I was just explaining one of the reasons for spacers. The OP doesn't know what they are for. People with the sport package use the 18's for winter wheels. Some use spacers on the 19's to push the wheel out farther to make it more flush with the wheel well. There are plenty of wheels out there which need spacers to clear the sport package brakes.
