you call bs? I boutt he 2nd set for my old man. If your not hammering all the time on them then yeah you can get some mileage out of em. 43 on the rear and 48 on the fronts. Goodyear messed with his camber a bit and caused a increase wear in the inside. If you know your camber/caster/toe settings on your car for even tire wear then yeah it is possible. Car has never been tracked.

i will add though that he doesn't have the traction that i have with the 19's and his tire is a harder compound. There is no real way I can prove it. But do the math 175000 and 4 sets of tires. 1st was reo50's. 2nd was Yokohama Advan Sport. 3rd and 4th was the Toyo's.

wow, thats great roy'sz! guess i enjoy "driving" my Z. putting around just aint guna cut it. ;)

Yeah to each their own. Its nice to cruise the car, I love canyon carving in my z but don't do it too often. I need to save some dough up for some mods.

As has already been stated, you won't get many miles out of those tires at all.

instead of starting a new thread. i need to replace my rear sport pack tires. i was thinking of going either re-11 or super sport for DD and rain. my question though is, i do not need to replace the fronts, is it weird to keep the stock front tires and have diff rears for DD?

i think you will find a few threads of people complaining about car driving funny after the change
|
If you can eek the extra mileage out of the fronts then get another set of rears and replace both on the next change.
