10.5 + 5 rear will fit fine. That's what I'm running. It's perfectly flush. Just look in my album.

KaienZ34 05-30-2012 06:22 PM

I think he wants to run stock camber and 305's.

FuszNissan 05-30-2012 07:04 PM

Ahh...not sure on that.
I'm running -2.1 on swifts, with 295

Do you think i will be able to run stock camber and 295's on swifts with a 10.5" rear and +0 offset?

FuszNissan 05-30-2012 07:36 PM

I don't know...that's a tough one with stock camber. Maybe with a 25 series tire. You may rub with a 30 series. :twocents:

I do plan to at least get rear camber arms.

Liquid_G 05-30-2012 09:35 PM

Not sure if this helps, but on mine..

Bit of a stretched tire (255/35).. but its 20x10.5 -12 (-2 with a 10mm spacer).. Never rub in the rear. Maybe like 3 degree camber. Don't know exact spec.

FuszNissan 05-31-2012 09:33 AM

255..damn

KaienZ34 05-31-2012 09:36 AM

Wait 255 on the rear? I thought he was talking about a 255 on the front.

Dont know if this helps, but im current lowered on H&R springs (more aggresive than swifts) and have the following wheel set up: 19x9.5
+22mm and 19x10.5 +15mm (+10 with a 5mm spacer). I think both the fronts and backs could be slightly more aggressive as far as offset. I installed a rear camber and toe bolt kit and kept front camber stock. I've posted pictures after the drop as well as my current alignment specs below, i plan to get my rear alignment redone this weekend to get it closer to stock.

KaienZ34 05-31-2012 09:56 AM

What tire sizes are you running?

It would be great if you could post some more pics from different angles. May be upgrading to 20" (installer jacked my wheels so they are refunding me for my set) and would love a reference. Noticed you have a lip and FI exhaust, do you scrape much?

Shouldn't need anything special. Mine had two holes drilled in each wheel, one near the back of the barrel for the tpms and the other for the right angle valve stem just behind the lip with rivets.

KaienZ34 06-03-2012 05:57 PM

Mine has all the holes but i was told by Mark with RavSpec that i would need an adapter, he's the one that gave me the link also. Yours worked with no problems, no tpms light?

You'll have to get the tpms light reset, I was able to get that done by a local shop. Interesting on the adaptor, I def don't have one on mine.

What size did you go with? I have an opportunity to upgrade to 20" given the installer scratched my wheels and is paying for new wheels, but i dont want it to be too extreme. Post pics once installed if you dont mine.

I REALLY wish i would have went with 20's again (had 20" volk gt-30's) but i went with 19x9.5+20 & 19x10.5+0 in Matte Gun Metal with bronze lip/barrel.

FuszNissan 06-04-2012 07:15 AM

Did yours arrive yet?

Yeah they were here when i got back from ZdayZ. Did you have to do anything to use your OEM tpms other than have them reset once installed?

Shineauto 06-04-2012 08:17 AM

Good looking wheels. You can never go wrong with volks.

That looks so sweet, makes me wish i went with 20's even more. Did you need anything to run your stock tpms?

Wiggins3377 06-04-2012 07:00 PM

Damn, now you're really tempting me to get 20". Do you know what your rear camber is set to?

KaienZ34 06-04-2012 07:03 PM

Just my guess, but -3.0 rear camber.

I received 4 metal adapter bracket's that the sensor's mounted to, these wheel's did not come with a second hole for them to mount, the adapters work perfectly.

On a side note don't let the tire shop attempt to drill them, the tire will have no problem sliding over the sensor (the tire will not touch it) even with step lipped rims since they will sit below the lip. I never had to reset the sensors.
I believe Mark @ RavSpec gave me the sensor adapters along with the proper hub rings, made for a easy install!

RavSpec 06-04-2012 07:12 PM

Finally gave me some good pics

I am dropped pretty low, running -5 degrees in the rear, and -3 in the front.
I don't daily drive the car, and plan to pull the rear fender's to take out some camber.

I finally had time to snap a few daytime pic's this weekend :)

I've been to a few meets and these wheels have gotten a lot of attention, so happy I got them from you!

RavSpec 06-04-2012 07:22 PM

Correct, don't let anyone drill extra holes. Work Japan couldn't drill the extra holes due to the step lip design. If it's a flat lip, then it should be fine.

Get the iforge adapter, $40 a set four.

So only the step lip would need the adapter? Or is it the other way around?

RavSpec 06-04-2012 07:51 PM

only 20" Step lip gnosis need adaptors.

others, no.

Wiggins3377 06-05-2012 05:51 AM

Slightly off topic, What 's everyone's method for cleaning their GS4s? I posted I thread in the detailing section but haven't received any responses. My current method is to cover the wheel while washing (to avoid water build up in the lip), and use a microfiber towel and wheel cleaner to get the job done, but there are some small areas between the barrel and face of the wheel that are giving me trouble. Any input would be appreciated.

Liquid_G 06-05-2012 06:04 AM

Soap and water. Never use wheel cleaner. Sometimes use a thin plastic scraper thing with a microfiber wrapped around it to get under the edge of the spokes.
