this is such a noob question, but how does the pink base coat help the black coat? Going for that pearl effect?

Lol no. In no way does it change the look of the black. Unless someone used nightshades paint and did like a light transparent black..then it would probably show up purple. I just did a pink basecoat for my Girlfriend and thought it would stir something up here.

Okay I changed my mind and went with a metallic 40th grey looking color. Should be done in about 45 min. I'll upload some pics.

Nice! I wanted to do the same color whenever I buy a set of sport/Nismo wheels. Would be cool to see someone else try the same color. Just wish your Z was PG like mine

Overall good day...turned out great. Just wanted to get these done because it's been 110 degrees since 11 this morning. Let me know what you think

Sorry I didn't get a chance to clean them up and dress the tires. There is still a little overspray dust. I'll have to use a little paint thinner on the tires.
