If you want to bring front and camber back to spec, you will need a camber kit. That's because you cannot adjust front camber with the OEM suspension components. Also, there might not be enough adjustment in the rear...at least that was my case. On mine the rear camber was only adjustable back to -2.4 (still outside of spec). I have front and rear camber kits because I wanted to be able to adjust and fine tune camber for an aggressive street/light track setup. Your best bet is to install your springs, give them a chance to settle (1 or 2 weeks), figure out what spacers you want to put on (install them), and then do a wheel alignment. Do it in that order. Adding spacers on top of lowering your car will create more negative camber. Then you can decide how much camber correction you need to do...that'll help you decide on whether or not you need camber kits front and rear.

if i install the springs without getting a wheel allignment wouldn't my tires start wearing funky? and what is the original spec of front & rear camber?

Yes.

You need a rear camber kit or an alignment is worthless

New springs will require a little bit of time to settle. Give it a week to do so. Your tires will be fine during that time unless you will be driving lots, eg. going on a road trip.

I lowered my car about 1/2" rear and 3/4" front and have 15/20 mm spacers on OEM Rays wheels at the moment. I ended up purchasing camber kits anyway b/c I wanted my camber adjusted a certain way. I can tell you that without the camber kits, you can't get the camber back to spec. This is where some people have a difference of opinion or are indifferent (ie. doesn't matter to them what the end camber will be so long as the car looks good). When I asked the same question as you, a lot of people said, "oh no...no camber kit is needed unless you lower more than 1". Like I said, that wasn't the case.

My personal advice to you is if you want to do it right, get the camber kits front and rear. It'll save you unnecessary (uneven) tire wear. Also, if you wait for an alignment to decide if you need the camber kits, you basically will have to pay for a second alignment once the camber kits are installed.

PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi i just purchased some 20" Staggered Flat Black XXR 521 rims. Bolt pattern 5-114.4/120. 20x8.5 offset +32 (front) & 20x10.5 offset +30 (rear) with Falken FK-452 Tires 245/35/20 (front) & 285/30/20 (rear). I have a 2009 370z coupe base model. So my question is, what is the best measurement of spacer should i get installed?

i was thinking about getting the same setup minus the spacers plus wider tires on the rear. maybe 325s? idk if thats possible but i want the rears to look as fat as possible. how did yours turn out?
