This is why threads like these should remain open for people to check up on member's reviews on certain vendors. Who knows, for those who read this, we might have just saved you some money and time...

If the vendor wasn't messing up in the beginning or kept the customers "in the know", these threads would not exist. sadly, that wasn't the case.

Surely if VIP Status told realistic deadlines of 6 to 12 months, he would lose a ton of orders.

I paid in full a long time ago and have been waiting for months and months...and I didn't even buy expensive wheels. I bought cheaper wheels so I wouldn't have to wait so long...well WTF..I don't understand how it could possible take this long when he tells me he has the wheels in his hands almost two months ago. Where are they now? hell I don't know. I don't care what excuses or problems there are...just send me my wheels so I can be done with this please. I've missed the only two car shows around here because I've had to wait on him so long..and I'm pissed about that. My car doesn't even have any wheels on it right now because i dismounted my stock tires FOR RICK -.- it's sitting in the garage on jack stands waiting for SOMEBODY to at least reply to me.

This is definitely a trend, pretty sad to see so many unresolved issues. I will be picking up my VIP carbon wing in a month so I will see how that goes but this is really saddening that there are so many people in limbo. Good luck to everyone.

Wow glad I ran into this thread. I was considering ordering wheels through him. Bet he just lost a ton of business.

Status is moving. They need to move out to new location in Gardena, CA by the end of next week. I was there at Status and they were packing up for the move.

If you listened carefully, the message was the 1st move to Van Ness street. This move will put them in Gardena.

Then if that's the case with all of these employee's Rick has you would think someone would change the machine or better yet man the phones!

That's what I'm saying, I don't understand why at least one person isn't responsible to answer the phone.

When your told 2 months and it has been 6 anybody would be pissed,Rick says he has my wheels but they are at the machine shop getting the hole drilled for the TPMS(I thought Venaci did this)if he does have my wheels it shouldn't take that long to get a tracking # and real date on when I can expect them.

If it closes just open another one that's what I did.

I agree with the, "not part of this thread" to keep quiet. I really want to know the status of people's items (and my wheels as well).

- 5/16 Rick told me my wheels are now with the shipping company... i shudve receive some tracking number last Thursday or Friday but havent heard from him since.... Hopefully i'll get something today!!!
- 5/18 i just paid the full balance for my wheels to Rick last 3-4 weeks ago and everyone is telling him to get file a chargeback and stop the agonizing wait.

Lets wait & see, hopefully its not one of his "Promised Words" again... Im determined to cancel all my order & demand for a full refund if no tracking number is given to me on that day or any other updated info!!

If refund is the option on that day, hopefully i can get my cash back within 2 weeks and grab some wheels elsewhere where vendors can deliver within the period promised.

10 Months of Wait for a set of wheels is very frustrating!! & being far away from the US makes things unsecured!!

Yeah it definitely sucks for everyone involved and the list is growing. These guys/gals do have patience but their patience is due to what Rick told them. After several refunds and promise delivery date with nothing to show for that trust is gone.

With Rick's popularity and reputation on this forum... previous VIP thread(s) were either locked, post deleted and/or swept under the rug. so I hope this stays up so let's keep this thread civilize.

Since Rick log on quite often maybe he'll Chime in with everyones update. Or maybe those member who are personal friend with Rick and can get a hold of him... can let him know about this thread.

Nothing is being "swept under the rug," AK doesn't defend bad vendors. In fact, quite the opposite. Threads get deleted when everyone starts acting like *** hats and clown shoes by bashing rather than keeping everything factual.

I'm sorry to hear that you guys are still waiting on your wheels. I remember speaking with Frank in November right before he ordered his wheels. I hope that all of your issues get resolved sooner than later. I ordered my wheels from Ravspec and they were in from Japan in 10 weeks. If any of you are looking for Work Wheels you can't go wrong with them.

During those 10 weeks I thought I was going to die, so I can't image how all of you feel. All of you have been more than patient and civilize about your purchase. I personally think that all your wheels should be highly discounted. Not free parts, but discounted for all of the time you've had to wait.

For those that have been waiting on their wheels to arrive I hope you'll be updated and/or receiving them in a timely manner. In researching what wheels I wanted to go with I thought long and hard about every possible setup out there and decided that Works were the only way to go. Anyone can see what goes on simply with a Google search, knowing this, I still spoke to Rick about the setup I was looking for and was taken back by the amount of time and resources he has when building great setups ESP regarding fitment. He's a 370z tuner like all of us here. Look at some of the great builds he's done! And when the time comes my car will be rolling as hard (or even harder lol) as the cars he helped build :lol: in the end is IMHO that he'll serve all of us here with some dope *** rims.
