Bullitt thanks for post #10. I was wanting to save that info (offset on the stock NISMO wheels) for down the road when I can afford wheels. That way I can do some measuring too. I subscribed so don't break the link haha, who knows when I'll have the extra $$.
I don't mean to derail and I won't be cause I dont have more info but a friend at Mackin told me there will be 19x12's on the TE37 for the Z (I'm thinking rears obviously) with mean face profile :excited: Lets hope a protoype is available for showing at SEMA. |
Im about to put Advan RS-D in following sizes
20 x 10 +25 20 x 10.5 +20 Wanted to know about tyres, would I have issues with running the following setup 275/30/20 305/25/20 |
275 up front will be extremely tough without suspension parts and rolled fenders

Can anyone tell me if I'm screwed.
I have this setup on the way to me. 18 X 9 ET35 275/40 front 18 X 10.5 ET15 305/35 rear Will be lowered an inch front and rear. |
anyone have photos of 19x9.5 +12 front and 19x10.5 +12 rear. i know the rear will be ok but will the fronts fit. i am dropped on H&R springs.

A 9.5" +12 will require front camber around a -2.3~-2.5 depending on your tire choice. It looks good and will give you a great turn in response but at the cost of camber/tire wear.
|
shoot, i drive a lot. around 600-800 miles a week so that will eat up tires like crazy. i really wanted to go with that set up. im still running the stock tire sizes as well. what if i went to a 235/35 19 instead of the 245/40
|
One last shot (just in case)...
I had another thread, but I wanted to devote this question here since it's related to 275 tires up front. Apparently Hankook does not offer 265/35 tires, so I wonder how feasible 275/35 tires would work if I were to get Swift lowering springs.
The front wheels are 19x10.5" +40mm with a 10mm spacer to clear the calipers. Current tires are 255/35. |
I would like to have a setup like this : 20X10 at the front and 21X12 at the rear, is this possible?

I am running 20's all around though.
|
Doing big things, Ordered my wheels today not going to say which ones or colors, but I say say this I am going to powder coat them and the sizes are 19x 10.5 + 12 all around ;) oh yes!!!!
|
how will these work out on my non sport
front: 20x8.5 20 offset tires - 255/30/20 rear: 20x10 25 offset tires - 285/30/20 |
Here's the setup I just bought. (From a previous vehicle, obviously not the right offsets for a 370)
Front: 19x9.5 +17 - RE050A 255/35/19 Rear: 19x10.5 +18 - RE050A 285/30/19 I know it's not going to look right as is, so what do you think would be the recommended spacers needed? Currently looking at a 10mm in the rear, also going to pick up some universal 2.5mm ones in the event 10 isn't enough. I've also been told 15mm's would be too much by someone having the same offsets. Anyone else have an opinion in this? |

The front may be a tad aggressive. With a 9.5 diameter, +22 to +25 would be good with a bit of camber. Are you lowered? |
crazier the offset the better.

Dropped on swift springs, car is daily driven. What can you tell me about this:
front: 19x9.5 +22 on 245/40s rear: 19x10.5 +12 on 285/35s Edit: After thinking about it, I figured that the setup I want would be the equivalent of adding 18mm front/11mm rear spacers to the stock nismo wheels, so I guess I will be ok up front since there are people here running 20mm spacers on the front with nismo wheels and tires....for the rears I guess I could add 5mm+2.5mm spacers to bring the offset down to +4.5 (same thing as adding 18.5mm spacer to rear nismo wheels, again, I've seen people here running 20mm spacers back there.) what do you think? do you think camber will be too bad for a daily driver? Do I have all my calcs wrong? lol |
Anyone have any idea how much room we got up front as far as suspension clearance goes?
|
Any idea if 19x9.5+17 on the 245/40/19 Fronts with stock springs IS TOO AGGRESSIVE and going to eat the fender?
|
Couple of quick questions, (I'm sure my answers are in this post somewhere, so let me apologize upfront if I'm being redundant!)
1. If I am getting a 20x11 wheel and want 315/25/20 tires and want them to be able to tuck what range offset should I get? 2. Same question for the front with a 20x9.5 wheel and either 255 or 265/30/20 tire? Thanks for the info, Trial and error is too expensive!! |

Sorry for the double post. Damn Droid, can't wait for the next iPhone!!
|
Has anyone put a 265/30/20 tire on a 9.5 wheel using an offset in the +12 to +18 range?
I am wondering if it will rub on anything or if I should do a 255/30/20...I don't want to go to narrow in the front because I am doing a 315 rear tire on an 11mm wheel. Any thoughts............. |
Thread revive!
How about +15 front and rear anyone have this yet? DAN |
Quote:
a 10" wide +15 would required a serious drop and/or camber for the front and the rear would need a spacer if it was 10" + 15. but if it was a 8" wheel, it would fit fine up front and require a massssive spacer in the rear. |

I am already on Stance Coils with a mild drop, I was really hoping not to get spacers Im just not a fan wheel specs are 19/9.5/10.5 +15 front and rear......Dont really care if it has a little tuck or even just a little poke.....I plan on 255 30's up front and 305 30's in the rear...
