I don't get the hellaflush craze at all, but it is big, and people are going to do it regardless. Even the subaru forums have a thread devoted to slammed subie's, stickied right next to the one for lifted subarus .

It's not ever like this guy is running some ridiculous setup either, or distracting from the "real" technical discussion on here...like whether to go with +12 or +22 offsets on your TE's
He's free to post a thread about this style, and members are just as free to voice their opinion on the style. What's to understand?

I agree that it's that guy's money, it's his style, that's all that matters. But hatas gonna hate.

It's just poor form. Behavior like this ruins forums. I think TE's and CE's are played out, but you won't see posting that up in every thread about them.

But you're free to do so.

I agree that there's a lot of groupthink and hate when it comes to edgier styles. I've always tried to encourage folks to try something unique and new and damn the haters.

But people are going to post their opinion.

I know of several behaviors that make forums less pleasant, but they come and they go, and it seems that we each have our own set of standards of what constitutes poor form.

I'm not totally disagreeing with you. If you think it is egregious enough,
