Alchemy,
My car is stock, you think I can run 255/30/19 front and 295/30/19 rear with out needing spacers or any other modification? In fact what is the best wheel/size combo one can do with the cars stock suspension/springs for performance / aesthetic purposes? all opinions welcome,

So stock no drop or any other mods If i go
20x9+20x11, I can run tire sizes 245-35-20+285-30-20 without any problem right?
I heard I can go 255-30-20+305-25-20 but i think that's pushing it.

by mods i mean spacer, springs, or coil overs

U shouldnt have a prob but you will wanna research what offset you will need on those rims for the right fitment. With the right offset there will b no probs fittin any of those tyre sizes.

If i want more performance than aesthetics (or go) would 19's be a better option than the 20's?

19's will out perform 20's and 18's out perform 19's. For all out performance go 18, for all out looks go 20 and for a mix of both go 19.

Thanks Alchemy 19's it is, with the right tire I can get the look on 19's and not sacrifice on performance, I would love 20's but my Z is my daily driver so I always take performance into consideration.

I would have loved to get 18's but they just look too small. Im all about performance, but I just had to sacrifice a bit and go 19. Do you ever plan on lowering? If so make sure you take that into consideration when deciding upon offsets.

Going with the F.I. TDX CBE with CF mufflers, since the mufflers sit pretty low definitely not planning on lowering.
