Would a set of rays lug nuts fit with the 19 sport wheels?

No, I haven't seen any yet that will. You need to use a flat style lug with washer on the stock Rays sport wheels, not conical, or tuner style.

this can happen when you put lugs without the washer style on the stock rims

funny thing is that G was from Montreal where potholes could be a factor....lol
