Default Powder coating a curb rashed rim?

I'm looking to get my stock rims powder coated but have managed to nick my FR rim with the curb, is it possible for the person doing the powder coating to repair this? Or if I were to get the rim repaired before getting it powder coated would the repair hold up to the bead blasting and heat of the process? The mark is smaller than my pinky nail but I know its there and thats enough to bother me.

if its minor, it can just be sanded smooth and then coated over and you would never know it happened. If its deep, it can be repaired with some jb weld, run through a cure cycle, then sanded smooth and coated.
