So I called my mechanic friend who helped me out with the tire on my way home after picking up the car about a month ago. He reminded me we let quite a bit of air out before even checking the pressure (which measured over 70 psi). I was taking pictures when the thing started making noises so we hustled to deflate it a bit.
![]() I note that while there is a TPMS, it detects underinflated tires only. Why not have a PSI range with alerts when pressure strays beyond? I can't imagine having to deal everything that might have happen if the tire had blown
