The RE-11 feels faster than the AD08 because it can hold a little more cornering force, but the AD08 is better under braking. All in all there isn't much performance

The RE-11 feels faster than the AD08 because it can hold a little more cornering force, but the AD08 is better under braking. All in all there isn't much performance difference in these tires, or any of the tires in this grouping - they are all good. I've driven on just about all of them, unfortunately not all on the same car so I can't make a true comparison as car setup is much more of a factor than tire.
That said, if you want the lowest lap times then you need something like this
