Quality lugs for aftermarket wheels ?

What are you guys using for aftermarket lug nuts? I wanna keep it around $150 or lower. If we use an open ended lug will the stud eventually rust? Any info is appreciated.

Kics Projects...a little pricy but good quality.

I have the MXP lugs. I love them. Open ended and very light weight. I don't see the studs rusting though. Also made by Mackin if you've heard of them.

Any use titek open lugs? I want one without the key/lock.

TonyBPD 02-24-2011 08:21 PM

Do you like the long or short? The Titeks look pretty nice. The MXP's are nice looking also.

SPOHN 02-24-2011 08:34 PM

The Titeks are nice. Almost went with them also. Good price also. People seem to love them also. The longs look great, but not sure if I'd want that look. I'm also not sure of all the reasons for the long? I assume for easy on/ off without scuffing the wheels. Probably race inspired also.

As of last week some of the Titek where on back order.

I've been running TiTek Speed extendeds for over a year and a half without any issues.

I would for sure recommend them to anyone

Thanks dude, I had the Nismo lugs at first then switched to the Volk tuners. They looked too pinkish so I've been rocking the TiTeks ever since.

One good thing about the TiTeks is that they are sold in packs of -4- so that if you mess up a few you can replace a couple without buying the whole set of 20.

im using the open ended Deevo racing lugs. a set of 20 was 79bucks from speedelement

Guys thanks for the comments on titeks.

I think im going to get the shorts in black. :)

I ran the Project Kics R40s on like 4 cars and never had an issue with them.

I also lost the key and as long as you have the lug, you can get a replacement.

Project Kics FTW.

^^i agree with the R40's...they take the impact guns like a champ..

I really like the ones I got and they are VERY light. Definitely a good option!

Would recommend them, they take 2lbs of weight off in relation to the stock lugs.

Oh and you can support a vendor on here and get them for around $150.
