LOL... I was gonna say the same thing. We Photochop guys can pull the detail out of the shadows quite easily. Just over-expose it a bit and park the car so the sun or light-source is hitting the rear of the car. WE'll do the rest ;-)

Also, it seems these changes the ire diameters a bit - they are a bit shorter than stock so let us know if the traction control/VDC acts up - it would throw a slip light if anything. So you just scrapped the OEM tires for these?

I already tried the photoshop route, there wasn't enough detail to pull out unfortunately. I'm going to try with the car in the garage next.

The VDC traction control is working fine. Yes the tires are slightly smaller than stock but there are actually closer in size to each other than the OEM tires. I still have the OEM tires and may sell them because they are barely worn (400 miles highway driven).

If I had any doubts about buying this car now I have no doubts this car is a priority for me. Been able to fit a 305s in the back makes a world of sense to me.

I put some 275 BF goodrich DR on my BMW 335i and I droped my times 6 tenths of a second in the 1/4 mile and increased my speeds about 3 miles, I only went from 255s to 275's. Now knowing that you can fit nicely 305's on the Z rear rims it just opens a whole new world of possibilities for this car. What an awesome car!!

By the way, your car looks absolutely killer.

Are these tire sticky? How did you do at the auto-x?

At the last auto-x they killed everyone, but the weather was abnormally cold and a little damp. It's not everyday you get to beat everyone on R-compounds.

This Saturday I'll get to test them with a little heat. Weather forecast is for mid 80's.

I does have a folding one like the Corvette. It's just that each time I fold it, I have to go back to my tire store and have them drill out a couple of rivets and put new ones in for me. :eek:

So, without using spacers, is 11" the widest "wheel" we could use in the rear? :bowrofl:

You can theoretically go to 12" in the rear and 10" in the front with the correct offsets.

There's a new option for a285/35R19 tire. Would this option be better than the 305 for the rear?

A 255/35 front with a 285/35 rear could work nicely, but it will depend on them posting the exact specs.

However be warned that these tires are designed as a auto-cross competition tire, not necessarily the best street tire option.
