What would you like to see from Strasse Forged (New Design)

Hey Guys,

Strasse Forged is looking to move into some new product lines with their wheels. Right now the choices are Concave, Forged 1 piece, & New Face Designs.

So here is what I am going to do... There is a poll and you CAN vote on more than one option. This is going to be your voice directly to the manufacturer! list up your ideas... designs you want to see considered and overall thoughts...

Not very many companies are willing to actually give their customers the chance to have a big voice... well today I am giving you guys that chance!

Concave:
(similar to what others have done like Cor below)

1 piece forged:
(similar to what others have done)

Ron 01-21-2011 03:08 PM

concave FTW! and new face designs..

Rickey89 01-21-2011 09:25 PM

concave , face designs would be a plus but concave is a must imo

SPOHN 01-21-2011 09:51 PM

I wonder at what point of degree does concave design becomes non structural?

NewYorkJon34 01-22-2011 12:46 AM

Concave, include gun metal as color choice for new rims

NewYorkJon34 01-22-2011 08:13 AM

What model of COR rims are those? They look pretty good

christian370z 01-22-2011 02:57 PM

I think both the concave and 1 piece design are gorgeous, I just hope they end up being reasonably priced and decently light!

bullitt5897 01-24-2011 02:52 PM

Talked to Strasse Forged today and they are taking a real interest in this thread! good Job Guys! let me know of any design ideas you may have! and keep voting!

bullitt5897 01-27-2011 06:19 PM

Well you guys spoke and they listened!!! Expect to see a new line of wheels coming out this spring!

Lemers 01-27-2011 06:25 PM

Carbon fiber

ClemsonWill 01-27-2011 06:31 PM

I really like the concave look. Try something different with it though.

bullitt5897 01-27-2011 10:14 PM

We will be doing concave with a twist. You can actually have a lip with your wheels. Our concaves start at 2" concavity and go up from there ;)

I will be doing 4" concavity on all 4 corners with a nice flat lip as well!

More details next week along with renderings ;) all our wheels are 100% American made! No over seas wheels no long wait 1 month turn around!

NewYorkJon34 01-27-2011 10:31 PM

Nice bullitt, as long as the prices are fair & designs are sick, I'll just buy from you guys. I'm looking for a real concave design with more of a lip in the rear than the front.

bullitt5897 01-28-2011 08:28 AM

The Concaves will be more expensive im not sure how much yet...

to help explain our material for the flat forged faces in raw form weigh in about 40 or so pounds. This is before we cut the faces out of the material. For concave they weigh 120 or more! We are working to get you guys multiple options when it comes to different concave depths. Right now we have the medium and extreme. Also like I mentioned before our materials come from the Great US of A!!! Some other companies may be able to offer similar looking wheels for less but I am not sure where they get their material from to be that cheap. I dont see how it could be from USA... Anyways, I should have renderings in the next week or two

What no Carbon Fiber?

Dont have to be from the USA, the germans know best;) . Oh and the concaves will be longer then a month from your guys, but youll see now.

Thanks for your submission

The spokes need to have more meat to them.

Here you go, double the width. Does look better.

bullitt5897 02-16-2011 09:04 AM

that does look a lot better.

Here's another design, saw something similar on a Passat CC, but it was flat. I think it would look good with some concavity.

bullitt5897 03-03-2011 03:37 PM

not bad but I doubt it will fly... the wheel will be too heavy.

sylenze 03-04-2011 01:25 PM

how bout a wheel like the lambo reventon's that looks awesome and can fit some fins that acts like a turbine for brake cooling?

cheshirecat 03-04-2011 01:51 PM

A 20'' 2-piece 5-spoke that looks like the Volk GTS.

I love the GTS, I just don't think 19's look right on the 370.

Volk Z 01-03-2012 09:23 PM

What about concave 1 piece monoblock with a lip... Like Volk TE37 but with a lot more concave to the spokes... The above split spoke wheel is hot but with a lip would be gorgeous!!

These were one-off's made for another member here. I'd really something like this in 19s. I have searched the internet off and on for months and can't really find anything like this.

Volk Z 02-14-2012 10:04 AM

The one piece monoblock will be cheaper then the 3 piece Strasse wheels right? Hopefully 3600 for the set of 4 or less?

I would actually like to see something like this as well. IMO simple 5 spoke wheels are the most attractive.

bullitt5897 02-14-2012 11:25 AM

strasse has a simple 5 spoke design:
