looking good, can't wait to see them on!

Jamaica 11-24-2010 10:02 PM

uhhmm interesting

bullitt5897 11-24-2010 11:59 PM

I agree interesting... looks like a lot of the wheels I saw at SEMA... I think the style needs to showcase the lip more... you loose the lip with this face type.

:iagree: The Z34 is all about lips.

Yes you are right. It's the 5.5 inches of concavity that takes away from the 6.5 inches of lip. It is something I will have to come to terms with...

Comes with the territory of being one of the first 370z's with REAL concavity and huge lips...;) Second one coming next week...

Chris_1 11-25-2010 10:27 AM

Oh dear, lovely lovely lovely, but then again lol I have seen them, OH YEAH. Cant wait to see them on the car man, they are gonna look nuts.

Well if I may, I think he was just saying that the wheels are concave, so its a different look. No offense to Buillitt, just its kind of common knowledge that 3 piece wheels with concavity, tend to show a lip, but in a different way.

Its a crazy looking wheel, just for someone that saw wheels at Sema, should know automatically that is a 3 Piece Concave wheel, and should understand that.

:stirthepot: :icon17:

dirTy_shoeZ 11-25-2010 11:00 AM

Those are nice bro. I would like the spoke to go all the way to the edge with more concavity. But that's good concavity and a very nice wheel. Mount em :)

Chris_1 11-25-2010 12:14 PM

Dirty, You have options when doing these type of aggressive wheels. Concavity, right now can only safely come out 5.5" from what I have been told from most of my manufacturers, anything more is structurally not sound yet.

khern11 11-25-2010 01:09 PM

wow nice! they look expensive

G Fo12ce 11-25-2010 01:41 PM

Lets see them on....

I think they will look sick for sure, but also IMO the lip starts where the spokes end.

bullitt5897 11-25-2010 04:12 PM

They are SICK dont get me wrong... I just thing the style needs a little more development. It seemed as though everyone was doing 3 piece concave at SEMA this year and the best looking ones had a medium concave and a huge visable lip. This is just my taste... I like the Sick concave I just think that if your gonna concave dont focus on a lip.

SEMA was waste of my time but it was vegas!!!!

:iagree: To be honest concave is nothing special but maybe this wheel on his car could look different and change my view. Maybe its just me. Cuz ima wheel whore.

W.O.W. 370Z 11-25-2010 04:39 PM

I am greedy.I wanted huge lip and massive concavity, within safe limitations.

Can't wait to see what you got in store for us Jamaica. Hopes are high for your wheels, don't let us down man...

Chris_1 11-25-2010 11:09 PM

The concavity and lip when its this type of setup is an option, so you can get the lip up to the spokes, or it can go for max lip. Also Happy late Thanksgiving to everyone.

Chris_1 11-26-2010 09:10 PM

I just saw a sneak peak on the car, and OH dear is all I can say. That is definitely one way to take out everyone in a crazy/sexy look. I now bow down to Forged Specialties lol.

Namir 11-26-2010 11:12 PM

Concave + lip is definitely possible...

This is slight concave, like a te37 sort of. You lose lip when doing this, but I mean this car is an exception mainly b/c of the widebody.

W.O.W. 370Z 11-27-2010 07:54 PM

Just got back from Best Buy and saw some great lighting to take some pics on my HTC Evo...

W.O.W. 370Z 11-28-2010 09:37 AM

Thanks for the opinions!!

I wanna do something with the center caps so I left them off.

The wheels specs are: 20x10 +10 and 20x12 +0. Tires are 245/35/20 and 295/30/20. Car is lowered on H&R springs. I am shopping around for camber kits as we speak!

c41006 11-28-2010 10:28 AM

Looks pretty good!
