Default Low tire pressure light

Had a slow leak (nail) in one of my tires a couple weeks ago and obviously the indicator light came on. I got the tire repaired and the light went off. Well I started my car this morning and noticed the light was back on. I checked the pressure in all four tires and they ranged from 28-32psi. I pumped them all up to 35psi but my indicator light will not go off. Has this happened to anyone else and do you think that it could be a bad sensor.

As long as you have the proper pressure in them, the light should come off within a couple of miles of driving... Does the light just come on when you start the car or does it blink when you first start the car?

It stays on (not blinking) the entire time. I pumped the tires up in the driveway and have not driven the car. Just started it up after I pumped up the tires and it was still on. Maybe after I drive it around it will go off. I figured it would go off immediately since it is a sensor but who knows.

How cold was it when the light came on? I've found that the first cold snap triggers the light due to all that stuff about cold air and contracting molecules blah blah blah.

Blinking light not bad. Steady light stop and check pressure.

I had to do this yesterday, as the dealership overinflated all 4 tires.

Since there is no visible indication of the pressures, you can't tell what the pressures are. The sensors do not register until the car is moving. I had a 350 with the digital readout and they don't show any number until you've been moving for awhile.
Once you drive it, the indicator will go off.

My car's light came on when the outside temp dropped quite a bit. Temp has been very low ever since, so now even if I drive the car for hours, the light remains on. I haven't check the tire pressure, but I know for sure that there is no leak.

My previous car, an Evo, had the same exact issue but the light did go off after I drove it for few miles.

The drastic change in temperature will make your tire air pressures fluctuate. Check you're tires, I bet you really do have low pressures.

Drove the car around the block this afternoon and the light went off after about two or three miles.

The worst problems in life are almost always solved by driving your Z for a few miles!

That's why I want to get nitrogen in my tires, soon!
