I had a female named Katie who live to be 13, and til the day she died, she bounced around like a puppy even though arthritis had set in about every joint she had. Awesome dogs. She is BEAUTIFUL. Good luck with her surgery. BTW, good for you for not getting her ears done. IMO, they look SO much better that way.
