What are the offsets for the stock 18's. Ive already looked in the owners manual and it differs from wheel store computer systems

2mm difference isn't really that significant, what are you trying to get at?

what im trying to get at is why it says our rear offsets are like 18 and all the wheel shops show 47.

Meaning our offsets according to rim shops is 45 front and 47 rear.
Our owners manual shows 18 in the rear. WHats up with that.

Can someone please chime in the OFFICIAL OFFSETS of the rear wheels. Theres no way it is 18 like the owners manual says

the front 19's offset is +47 but thats on a 9.0" wide wheel, i think they are confusing things. i'm just trying to understand what you are going to these wheel shops for. are you getting new wheels, why are you needing the offsets of the wheels that are already on your car.

im about to buy wheels to put them on stock tires. the new wheel offsets are 45 all the way around. the owners manual says the stock OEM 18's rear offset is like 18 or something low. I need to know if an offset of 45 on stock 18 inch Yokohama will work

are you buy wheels make for FWD cars?

are they at least staggered (rear wheels wider than front)?

dont listen to your local tire shops. if your stock wheels are indeed 43 and 15, your rear wheels will get so sucked into the wheelwell you will hate yourself for getting them.

My rears are 10mm off (they are +22 on a 10.5'' rim) and I hate how sucked in it looks already - dont do it.

you're probably lowered though, right? if you lower this car and dont fix the camber you can probably add another 7-10mm and still make them fit.

discount tire plugged my car in their system and it showed 45 front offset and 47 rear offset.

All I am trying to figure out is if a wheel with a +45 offset will fot on my stock 18 inch tires. Someone has to know the answer??????

i know that this involves changing your whole plan of what you want to go with, but honestly, don't buy wheels based on your existing tires. all that does is limit your choices, and then in a few thousand miles when your OEM tires wear out, you'll be left with wheels that you don't necessarily like that much and only got so that they would fit tires you don't even have anymore. on one set of wheels you'll go through many sets of tires if you have them for a long time, don't base your wheels on the tires you just happen to have at the time.

The most popular offsets people seem to be running on our cars with 9.5/10.5 f/r wheels are +22 up front and a +12 in the rear. Now, if you want that same outer stance (how flush the wheel is to the fender) here they are

All of these FRONT setups have the same outer stance:
9.5"+22mm
9.0"+19mm
8.5"+12mm
8.0"+6mm

all of these REAR setups have the same outer stance
10.5" +12mm
10" +6mm
9.5" -1mm
9.0" -7mm

so pick your offset based on the width you end up going with.

you should remove your wheels and read the offset it states on the back side of the wheel to make sure.

wat 9are the width(s) of the new wheels you had in mind? i think 8" to 9.5" will fit your stock tires fine.

btw, if you do remove your wheels from the car, make sure to retorque the lugs after you drive 5-10miles again cause they tend to back out. if torque is 80lbs/ft.

also your aftermarket wheels often times have tapered lug bores so ask them to make sure you have the right lugs. the stock hubcentric lugs will probably not work with your new wheels. (just saying cause you dont sound like you have much experience with wheels).

GL!
