Will 325/30 fit on the stock rear sport rays? I know 305/30 fit

You would probably get under steer even with a 265 but turn in response will be better with the 255 also. A 275 or 285 would be best to match with your 305 rears but the rim width is your limit. You COULD still fit a 275 on the front but then turn in response will decrease and it'll feel sloppy.

I would like some more opinions because one issue I have is also the look of the sidewalls. I currently have 255's on my 9" rim and it looks a bit stretched. I know the 305 on the 10.5" will have a bit of a bulge. My thinking is the 265 will have about the same amount of bulge vs. a stretch due to the 265 & 305 section width are both about 1.5" over rim width. Also, with the 255, it would have a smaller diameter and sidewall compared to the rear. OEM has fronts a bit larger so the 265 by the numbers is a better fit:

......................255/35R19...........265/35R19.....305/30R19
Section Width: .. 10.04 in .............10.43 in .......12.01 in
Rim Width Range: . 8.5 - 10 in.........9 - 10.5 in....10.5 - 11.5 in

Sidewall Height:.. 3.51 in ...............3.65 in .........3.60 in
Radius:...............13.01 in..............13.15 in .......13.10 in
Circumference:.....81.77 in..............82.63 in.........82.32 in
Revs per Mile:......799.15/mi............790.78/mi.......793.75/mi

Anyone have pics of a 19x9.5+15, 9.5x11+10?

asdfsammich 03-25-2013 08:02 PM

Will these AD08 bulge, or give the flat sidewall look?

9.5 / 265 35
11 / 305 30

I am looking at
Rims: Rohana RC20
front 20x10 +25 +40
rear 20x11 +10 +20 +28

Tires: Hankook - Ventus V12 evo K110
255/35/20
285/30/20

will I be ok with these, I trying to get a flush look with the rims and flat sidewall look with the tires (or at least a non-stretched look)

rAiN 03-25-2013 10:04 PM

how about 19x12 -6 in the rear? with maybe 285/35 tires

raymondo510 03-28-2013 11:26 PM

Ok so I finally order my wheels in 19x9.5+15, 19x11+10. Im starting to tire shop and need some opinions. Im looking at Hankook V12's in 285/30/19 265/30/19. I know they will fit but I want to make sure the side wall won't look to chunky, I'm going for that low profile flush look. Im not lowered yet but that will come once I get the wheels and tires set up. Also I was wondering why some guys get a taller sidewall in the rear than in the front?

asdfsammich 03-28-2013 11:57 PM

The width creates a variance in how side wall height is represented as a number.

I'm sure others know lots more and will chime in.

But, a 265 35 will have a similar sidewall height as a 305 30.

Like play around at http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp

You'll see, for example, if you want 265 and 305 to have a sidewall that looks matched, you gotta go 35 and 30 respectively.

Really close. Total diameter will be 26" F and 25.8" R so there will be a minor difference I think but not noticeable.

Also I think stock diameter is approx 26.6", so just something to note.
