Hoping for a bit of input. I just picked up a 370z Nismo, and ordered (deposit sent) some wheels. Still trying to nail down the offset....this is what the supplier is looking at:

F 19x9.5 +23 265/35
R 19x11 +18 305/30

Looking at lowering via RS-R coilovers, at about a 1" drop. Wanting to keep camber at rear in the OEM range, but on the higher end (closer to square), as I will be putting a turbo kit on it right away. This of course is for traction purpose.

So, in other words, looking for the "square" look.

Thoughts?

Thank you very much...not my area of expertise, so it is nice to get some input from those that know this much better than I do.

I’m no expert on coilovers or lowering or the amount of clearance on backside of Wheels requiring the coilovers.
But I also ran the more upright camber on my Z,, roughly (-0.8 to -1.0) Front & Rear.
My Wheels are tight on backside w/7” backspace Front & 8” backspacing on rears...very close (finger tip) at all pinch points.
But the front spacing (hub face to outer wheel lip) is 4” on front & 5” on rear’s...your front spacing is just over that at 4.36” & 5.29”...not bad; as you will need more clearance on backside & your tires will be a more square/stretch look than the 285/35,345/30’s I have on 19x10’s,12’s....I’m sure you can dig through this thread or through the [official 370z] wheel fitment thread & find one close to what you’re looking for.
You may want to set your suspension up & then measure up for wheel offsets.
As my goal was to maximize backside & tuck as much underneath fender as possible/ while tuning Wheels more upright.
You’re in the ballpark with what you are posting: it’s just how ocd you’re gonna be with it.
Good Luck & here’s a small pic of mine.

^^^^Thank you...yeah, I'v been reading and searching for two days straight. I think I'm at a point where I am just starting to confuse myself even more.

May be time to take a break from offset searching.

1- Volk TE37 Ti Gun Metal.
2- 19x9.5+22 front 19x10.5 +12 rear
3- PS Sport
4- 265/35 Front | 305/30 Rear
5- Corner balanced on KW V3
6- No spec.
7- N/A
8- No issue with rubbing
9- Great suspension upgrade and look.

NOTE that a 11 inch wheel +18 is the same outward spacing as a 10.5 +12 so your wheels will sit the same from the outside.

Get some SPL arms and you can fit anything, especially since you aren't aiming to go low. I have a 20x12 +20 wheel with a 315/25/20 tire and approx 2 deg camber. There is room to spare.

The Z has essentially infinite clearance. You would be hard pressed to find something that won't fit if you are willing to do a few small things like a fender roll and suspension arms. (Big things to me are negative offsets, overfenders, and extreme stretch)

Thank you, and yes, that is one of the vehicles (wheel specs) I used to derive some of my decision making. It is the look I am going for.

I have already ordered the SPL gear, so it sounds like I'm well on my way.

The "Will it fit?" thread

Anyone running a 255/40/19x9.5 & 295/35/19x11?

Currently on 245/40 and 285/35, and looking for a tad more width, but not going for meaty.

Critique away... Thanks

Seems tall. 27 and 27.1 inches overall diameter. Slightly above stock diameters

Roll those fenders and you are good for anything. Go 325 in back, GTR level

Thanks. No need to roll anything on the NISMO's, but I'll probably have to trim the plastic fender trim on the inside. May just remove the altogether.

Rusty 02-11-2018 06:38 PM

I'm rolling on 285/35-19 PS4S and 345/30-19 PSS, on 19x9.5 +25 and 19x12 +28. You're going with a 1 inch drop. Then you would want 275/35-19 and 325-30-19.

Yeah that’s what the math says but figured it would actually be about the same... Someone please correct my warped thinking if it is so.

Check this out: I propose that

245/40/19x9 & 285/35/19x10.5

Would be the same dimensions (roughly within a couple MM height/circumference wize) as...

255/40/19x9.5 & 295/35/19x11

Comparison based on OEM Nismo Rays Vs 19x9.5 & 19x11.

Am I crazy?

11.5" wide wheel....what tire

Iv done my searching on google, with a couple results and searched here with 11.5" wheel as my phrasing, with no luck.

Seeing if someone here might have a recommendation or a link. Im not looking for meaty, closer to a 315/25 tire but yeah, Im having trouble finding that. Maybe even a 325/25.

You will want a 325/30/19 tire on an 11.5" rim for the rear. That is what I run.

This is what I run. -1.5 for camber on the rear. I could do -1.2 if needed.
the inner fender liners do rub a little. I have some small trimming to do.

taking a look at your car now :)

I dont know man, Id prefer to drop the car right at tire level or slightly below. Ill also be running around -2.5 camber. My offset will be +15. At least those are the specs I hope will get me the look I desire.
