Those are horrible specs for a Z. Those offsets would need to be closer to +3 and -14 to be close to flush.

OptionZero 01-14-2018 10:55 PM

LOL. C'mon man do like 10 minutes of research. Those sizes are bad for a lexus sedan

Think beyond a face design for a wheel

height, width, offset, diameter, tire size all affect how the car looks

this ain't fuckin' honda-tech

read through some wheel fitment threads and bone up on what range of sizes the Z should be wearing

iDaRkkO 01-14-2018 11:08 PM

yeah figured it would be a dumb idea after i thought about it. was a good deal tho lmao.

If you’re looking for winter beaters; pick up a set of base wheels- though they’re sunk in some/ they’re 8/9” specs are +43/+15
Unsure the cost of these Wheels you listed: but when you’d have to use 35mm or more spacers,definitely stay away!

fitment help for newb

have stock base coupe 2018
DO NOT want to change suspension or worry about rubbing and want to run 245/45/18 front 285/40/18 back
have the following choices for the wheels I like
front 18x8.5 +30 or 18x9.5 +35
back 18x10.5 +22

which will fit without issue and look decent, or are the offsets too far off? I don't have to be perfectly flush, just look nice

Thanks

thanks carlitos.......... no problems with rubbing with those sizes?
Will they look reasonably OK with the Z?

You are not going to have any problems with wheels! now I dont know if the tires that you want are going to give you problems... At least the setup that I use previously in my Gram Lights 57DR was 255/40/18 & 285/35/18 and my car was dropped on Swift springs and I dont have any problems.

You'll be fine;
Your front wheel lip's will sit 1.09" further out & 0.49" on rear's, though the tire sizes you listed will have a slight stretched appearance....as you see how the stock 245/45's fit the stock rear 9's...you'll have them on 9.5's-but with a tad more weight.
So they will look close to the same.
Tire Brand & Sizes can vary-But You won't have to worry about rubbing on stock suspension.

thanks guys, very helpful!!!!!!!!!! Just did not want a set up that was going to cause problems or look really bad. Glad to know it will be OK.

You can put what you want;
It's just some people like to roll "BIG" with 10/11's up front & 12" or more out back...
pending suspension setup-some will work & some wont; kinda helps when someone has been there-done that.

jchammond 01-18-2018 10:49 PM

Mine is currently parked w/225/50/18F & 345/30/19R on 8’s & 12’s...all stuffed under fenders; hoping Dragstrip will be open this weekend & I can finish off the 1/32” tread left on these Invo’s- before dismounting & diving into my 2 stacks of 325/30’shttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d838bf81ea.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...edccfdf852.jpg
