Might be the wrong thread for this but...
I'll be getting some better tires for my Z to go along with my BP turbo.
I'm a little worried these will rub in the rear. They're 305/45R18 29" Diameter. Anyone have a clue?

What’s the wheel specs & plans for the front?

Hotrodz 10-17-2017 08:48 AM

Hey James, I have Nitto's NT05Rs in that size and they fit with no rubbing on a 18x11 wheel. I would not try them on anything less than a 10.5" wheel. You will need a tall front tire within a 0.5" height of the rears.

Thanks for the help Bob! What are you running up front? I'll be on an 18x11 in the rear. I was thinking of getting NT555Rs up front

I need to correct my earlier post as I miss spoke. I have the NT555Rs in 305/40 not 45. I think they may be to tall. I would run my my stock Nismo front wheel with the 265/30 or a taller tire in a narrower size.

I don't daily or drag the car as my addiction is road courses. In fact pm me if you are interested in a set of set NT555Rs I mentioned. I will make you a smokin deal lol!

Hey guys I found a set of rezax I'm interested in buying and I'm having doubts/questions about how they'd fit on a stock body.

19x10 -30 fronts
19x12 -30 rears

Would require bags, stretch, pull, and even then it's pretty nuts

And if u gotta ask, I'm thinking no chance in hell

kevinpantz 10-18-2017 01:11 AM

damn. thanks for the quick response. I was loving the color and price haha

OZ knows more about fitting aggressive Wheels; but a +30 instead of a -30 is much easier done.

I'm looking at a set of Rohana RFX5's, 19 x 9.5 +38 front and 19 x 11 +28 rears. I would be looking at using 20mm spacers on front and probably 10mm on rear with 265/35 and 305/30 (haven't decided on tires yet). Could I stretch a 315 on the 11" rear? What do you guys think of this set up? Any recommendations?

OptionZero 10-19-2017 10:21 PM

stop
no
don't
please
no
don't

Stick to ur OEM wheels

if u need to spend money on wheels for some reason, get some Nismo rears on all 4 corners, they'll won't look like garbage without needing spacers and they're always in the FS section

if the wheels ur looking at need a 20mm spacer . . . look for different wheels

There's a SEMA sale for Advan/Rays/Gram Lights, probably like 25% MSRP on certain packages. I know for a fact SpeedImageUSA has pallets of wheels coming in. Please call them and get wheels that . . . actually fit:
http://www.speedimageusa.com/
42285 Osgood Rd
Unit G
Fremont , CA. 94539
US
Phone: 510-573-1998

there will probably be some used TE37's floating popping up for sale with better fitment, seem to appear fairly often

as for a 315 on a 11 inch wheel . . . thats fine. i wouldn't call that a stretch. Hell thats more squared off than OEM Nismo rear wheel (285 on a 10.5), so i don't wanna hear any crap about that being stretched

EDIT:

Apparently there is also a Vossen x Work sale going on now too. Not my cup of tea, but here's their lineup:
http://wheels.vossenwheels.com/vossen-work/#the-wheel

personally, i'm looking at Advan GT for my next weeks. Like in a year or two rofl
