285s on a 10.5" wheel should be fine although its about the narrowest tire I would put on a wheel of that width. I have 285s on my 10.5" Venacis

285s on a 10.5" wheel should be fine although its about the narrowest tire I would put on a wheel of that width. I have 285s on my 10.5" Venacis only because they were the factory tires and were nearly brand new. Will probably move up to 305s when I need to replace them.
