Got some new wheels.

I went to a person who drives rally with a 370Z for his opinion on mods I am going to do.

He showed me these wheels that he is going to put on his 370 and I liked them quite alot.

10 minutes later they were on my car :roflpuke2:

I will take some sunny pictures when it stops raining like hell here.

tires I put on there are the yokohama advan neova AD08.

front are 245/35/19 and back are 295/30/19. I must say those rear wheels are DAMN big.

I like them they are nice and grippy.

So what you guys think?

Chris_1 04-04-2010 11:29 AM

Their not bad, fitment looks off, but a drop is definately needed.

frost 04-04-2010 11:31 AM

I don't know anything about the rim quality, but they sure look good on the car!

nuTinmuch 04-04-2010 12:23 PM

I'm mixed. I... sort of like them?

These are wheels that seem polarizing, but I think they fit the car well!

I think they work well with the color of the car.

they seem to be good quality everything looks solid atleast

OMGWTFBBQ 04-04-2010 11:47 PM

I'm going to be one of the first to say that I'm not a fan. There's too much going on in the design of the spokes in my opinion. Either the design, or the color scheme in general. Sorry.

Nice choice of tires though. Advan Neova AD08's are pretty nice.

nogoodname 04-04-2010 11:49 PM

They will look much better with a drop.

I always liked rims with a busy design. I dislike volks since I find them boring since their design is nothing but just spokes.

yeah I like these tires. I was scared they would suck in the rain but they are pretty damn good

370zFORme!! 04-05-2010 11:06 AM

I'm not feeling them either..

areyouin729 04-05-2010 11:19 AM

not feeling them at all but it's not my car so enjoy

jmlenz 04-05-2010 03:54 PM

would like them better without the greyed out spokes and more lipage...glad your diggin em though!

well the greyed out parts arent painted so it looks alot better when they are cleaned and shiny.

I personal dislike one tone rims. I find them boring which is why I dislike volk.

What do you mean with lipage?

Zerafian 04-05-2010 06:51 PM

they look a little small...any plans for suspension? That might help with the size.

They are 19 inchers so they are the same size as the stock ones.

thinking of lowering it abit. shop has a good deal on KW suspension kits

m4a1mustang 04-05-2010 07:14 PM

Do not like!

I wonder if rim styles is different on continents. generally americans dig rim styles like volks while over here those type of designs are associated with cheap *** rims on golf and civic.

I am not bashing on VOLK but I find the designs too simple for my tastes. but everybody has a different taste

CruiZe 04-05-2010 10:22 PM

I can't speak for all Americans because we're all different but I prefer classy and tasteful rims. The more elaborate ones tend to look gaudy and tacky. I don't like yours but I've seen worse.

kevr6 04-05-2010 10:34 PM

Not my cup of tea! As long as you like them then they are the right choice!

Vegitto-kun 04-06-2010 12:35 PM

some pictures now that I was finally able to clean the car and sunny weather. :roflpuke2:

I like these Volks on 6MT's car better.... :twocents:

Vegitto-kun 04-06-2010 01:23 PM

And I don't like them. I don't like any VOLKS I have ever seen. I find them bland and boring looking. But like I said. tastes are different depending on person to person.

I have always prefered the busy looking ones. I mean my megane had these rims

m4a1mustang 04-06-2010 01:59 PM

You euros are crazy.

Vegitto-kun 04-06-2010 02:12 PM

And we think you americans are crazy with your nothing but straight spokes rim designs.

Thank god people have different tastes. world would be a boring place

mrsleepy1225 04-06-2010 02:23 PM

nice design, but do you know how they were made?

elmz 04-06-2010 02:24 PM

No offense, but I'm not feelin those at all.

wheee! 04-06-2010 02:33 PM

I guess that is why there are so many designs. There are a lot of varied tastes out there....

Vegitto-kun 04-21-2010 07:01 AM

update on the rims.

the gloss or whatever it is on the black parts is peeling off on one of the wheels

So we will probably beat up the guy that sold us those rims for selling us bad quality rims.

so I will probably go back to the stock rims :roflpuke2:.

so I will probably get some new ones.

Been looking around

http://www.enkei.com/2009_images/09wheels/razr.jpg

get some volks! :)

Vegitto-kun 04-22-2010 03:41 AM

Noooooooo. I don't like them. there is no design to them. they are just too simple. and I am not a big fan of those thick lip rims

fullmonty 04-22-2010 07:40 AM

The set of rims that 'ricer' advised you to get are by far the best looking rims you've posted. Though ask dad for his opinion just to be on the safe side.

Actually those are really nice wheels and not ricey at all. They look amazing in person and they are gram lights which are made by Rays, the same people who make volks and our factory wheels....

So that ricer wasn't completely off.

Vegitto-kun 04-22-2010 02:44 PM

Bleh. I dont like them.

I will probably get these

+1 I can't believe you think those are ricer rims.
IMO all of the rims that you have posted (including the ones on your car) constitute "rice" much more than a set of Rays Gram Lights. There is nothing rice about that set of wheels whatsoever.

I find them rice. Those types of rims are owned by idiots with "tuned" golfs and civics. I am more into designed rims like the ones that were on my megane and the venaci rims.

these are the type of people that buy volk style rims here

http://www.bestofbreed.nu/wp-content...05/gabbers.gif
:roflpuke2:

I hope to god that I can get my money back from that bastard who gave me my current rims with that peeling off paint. Only problem is my tires probably wont fit them since the rims are bigger than the ones I have. :shakes head:

Aren't those to "straight rims" for you :stirthepot:

J/k

Vegitto-kun 04-23-2010 05:47 AM

No they are sexy :roflpuke2:

fullmonty 04-23-2010 09:15 AM

The Gram Lights are your best bet dude. Now granted I don't live in Belgium so I don't know whats in style there, nor from all the times I've been to Europe I payed attention to what was considered 'ricey' rims. But the those 'ricer rims' you posted are very nice, I'd take a set in black.
