finally some Work wheels on a 370! <20" T1S in Matte Black>

Ive been working on getting these for sooo long! I wanted to do something different than everyone else with Volks so I went with some fat lip'd Works. Work Varianza T1S powdercoated in texture matte black to be exact. 20x9.5 +15 / 20x11 +17. The tires are not correct for the fitment as there is some stretch going on but as soon as I burn these tires up I will have some properly sized meats (the tires were almost freebies). The coilovers and wheels are installed and I must say it looks friggin ridiculous:ughdance: Sadly I have yet to get some decent pics with the digicam so here are some teaser shots to hold ya over:tiphat:

gladeslvrcoq 02-03-2010 10:03 PM

 Mount em! So many threads of wheels just lying on the floor.....

nogoodname 02-03-2010 10:07 PM

which size tires are you running with??

bullitt5897 02-03-2010 10:45 PM

You got these of My350z didnt you! lol I love the T1S but I couldnt ever find anyone with super aggressive offset for myself. You are running the same size as me but my rear offset is +0 You will be able to fit 305's and slam that stuff!!! In for more pics

TreyUT 02-03-2010 11:02 PM

Dam brilliant silver too. Hurry hurry hurry up. I wanna see them mounted. :excited:

g37mobbber 02-03-2010 11:38 PM

no teasers!!...im sure it'll look sick!! post pics!

molamann 02-04-2010 12:06 AM

Deep dish brothers.

G Fo12ce 02-04-2010 11:47 AM

Looks good, let see them on! Not feeling the stretched tire but free is free I guess. At least there is potential for them to look even better later.

jmlenz 02-04-2010 12:12 PM

pics coming this weekend...I promise!

Bullitt> your right, the rears could be more agressive, theres so much room back there. With the negative camber Im running in the rear right now it looks like they can come out another 15-20mm. The fronts look perfect however in this fitment. After an alignment w/rear camber arms Ill see how it looks and maybe look into some 10-15mm spacers to push the rears all the way flush.

Paul@AEperformance 02-05-2010 05:59 PM

Dat a boy!

Proper offsets indeed!

Can't wait to see them mounted up!

kevr6 02-05-2010 07:27 PM

kevr6 02-05-2010 08:42 PM

RCZ 02-06-2010 11:23 AM

cvega 02-06-2010 01:23 PM

I dunno y but i had a question for u about ur wheels and posted them in the totally wrong thread haha i dunno if u got that...

NYBladeZ 02-06-2010 01:35 PM

I love the fact that our Z's can run such wide wheels and not have rubbing issues. They look spectacular bro!

lemansz20 02-06-2010 03:12 PM

Tire sizes please? I assume thats a 25 profile in the rear?

htt760 02-06-2010 03:56 PM

Omg these look really sweet!!! Good call! Im on the same boat a you right now, car has wheels but we new the spoiler! Thumbs up

what part of San Diego are you from?

eddieconfetti 02-06-2010 09:49 PM

Nice. Next step would be painting the handles matte black. be just like the show car mrworks have.

Marco_xyz 02-07-2010 03:29 PM

damn jeremy... looks f'in SICK!

jmlenz 02-08-2010 06:35 PM

thanks for the compliments:tiphat: Tires are Falken 452s...245/35 and 275/30

Like I said, undersized for the 370 but Ill upgrade when I wear these out. 255/35 and 305/30 is what Ill mount up. I have a set of eibach camber arms on the way to sort out the rear camber and am tossing around the idea of 15mm spacers out back to get the look just right:tup:

And to answer someones questions if this setup rubs...not at all! I'll touch down the front plastic airdam and black plastic guards in front of each front wheel on occassion (driveways mostly) but that is to be expected at this ride height. No fender well rubbing though. So far Im very pleased.

htt760 02-09-2010 11:18 AM

I would try and stay away from spacers, because i have heard and good and bad with spacers... I think it looks good the way it is, but with the 305's its goona fill the fender well space and get that meat look...

its just my opinion about spacers.. but it would look really agressive with the spacers on.

What part of SD are you from?

Paul@AEperformance 02-10-2010 05:23 PM

Nice =)

Jm, yeah fallbrook is right next to me. are you going to the 02/20 meet at hooters somewhere?

Yeah thats what I used on my cobra when i was running skinnies... worked really well for years, and that spacer was a 1 1/4 INCHES for the front. I guess if you dont go Cheap then you should be fine.. BTW i had the HR spacers.. :ughdance:

jmlenz 03-01-2010 08:20 PM

Just a little update...finally got the rear spacers on (Ichiba 15mm) and now the rears fit nice and flush:tup:

...essentially 20x11 +2 with the spacers:p

I even thought about running a 20mm but with plans of running 295 or 305 in rear and only -2deg camber I thought that might be pushing it.

Welcome to the flush and proper offset crew  most people go for the weak sauce fitments but there are a few of us braves souls that look to push the limits of this car! Great job and with 305's you will need a lil more camber in the rear ;)

jmlenz 03-01-2010 08:47 PM

^ thanks bullitt...and hells yeah I agree, most people go way too conservative on wheel fitments with this car. Once I get new tires Ill take your advice on the camber and toe adjustments.

NA&CH 03-01-2010 09:23 PM

Looks great man. Nice setup.

Chris

htt760 03-02-2010 02:51 PM

**** looks awesome jmlenz... with the spacers, are they huncentric ones where you bolt on to existing studs??

I had friends having problems with the ICHIBA spacers, so just becareful running it really aggressivly. just a heads up...

The car looks sweet thooooo

^^ I want a 5 mm spacer so i can be apart of the crowd :-) :p

It has "Murder" written all over the black on silver!!! sickness

6MT 03-02-2010 07:32 PM

Nice wheels. The 20 inchers really fill nice and you've done the offset really well. The only thing I don't like is the tire sizes. They really look stretched. The sidewalls look to be ... oh I think 1/4" or more leaning inward when they reach the treads. You're leading with the wheel lip, not the tire protective lip. Looks like the tires are too small, IMHO.

didymus 03-02-2010 07:56 PM

Nice wheels. Don't like the tire stretch at all.
