Tires with Volk TE37

Anyone recommend any brands of tires and also Tire specs to get with TE37 wheels that are 19 x 9.5 +22 in front and 19 x 10.5 +12 in rear.

OptionZero 10-08-2020 10:11 PM

245/40
285/35
standard nismo spec tire size

265/35
305/30
Standard aftermarket spec for those exact wheels

Is there a way you can find out what the best specs are for those exact wheels or is the best way to just look around in the forum and see what others did.

Please specify what other tire specs you need help with other than what OZ has provided.

Also... define “best”
Do you have some specialized purpose for your car that demands something other than what I told you?

I literally SAID others have run that exact set up

265/35 19 and 305/30 19 for my setup for Te37sl pressed graphite wheels this is very standard for our 370Z’s

justin_boy 11-08-2020 09:46 AM

easy
track = nankang ar-1
street = michelin ps4's

but sizes, 265/35 19 and 305/30 19, just like everyone else is saying

My Preference BRIDGESTONE POTENZA
S-04 POLE POSITION 265/35/19 Fronts 305/30/19 Rears
I swapped out the rear 3x already and fronts once. Best street tire imo

Wheels are same setup as yours. 245/40 on the fronts, 285/35 on the rears - lowered on H&R springs.

I use Continental Extreme Contact DWS. Pretty good all around tire. Not a performance oriented as the Pilot Super Sports I used to have but this is my daily so sacrificing some performance for longevity.

Thanks. It's a weird color-shifting color called Illusion Malbec from Prismatic Powders. At night it looks black with just a hint of purple, indirect lighting it's the purple color and in direct sunlight or bright LED lighting it's a bright red. I love it at night, still not sold on it during the day. Been thinking about going back to satin black - think it makes the entire car look nice, fits it better without being too loud, while the purple wheels take all the attention away from everything else.

Right height isn't too bad. It's the carbon fiber side sills that make it appear an inch lower than the car actually is. Careful over speed bumps (can usually clear straight on without angling) but clears everything else just fine.

Nice wheel/tire combo. My car has Conti DWS06 that I bought from 4wheelonline. Wet braking and cornering response are great, though I haven't tried them in the snow.

Would those fit with a +22 in the front and +12 in the rear? From what I have seen they will no problem with those tire specs which I'm leaning towards for a meatyish look. I have sport suspension and I only plan to drop my Z half an inch all the way around. I don't want to be a street sweeper lol.

OptionZero 04-08-2021 12:30 PM

265/35 front
305/30 rear

Will fit with 9.5, +22 and 10.5, +12

It is a standard wheel size/tire size combo used by folks on springs and stock suspension alike.
