Powder coat defect?

Got my wheels back from powder coating. Is this over spray? Shop says they will re finish them. Is it bad to powder coat the same wheel a couple of

Default Powder coat defect?
Got my wheels back from powder coating.
Is this over spray?
Shop says they will re finish them. Is it bad to powder coat the same wheel a couple of times? Will it weaken the metal?

No repeated Powder coating will not damage your wheels . It doesn't get that how.

doesnt apply to Ops works but I have read multiple times, over the years, powder coating can "weaken" the integrity of a cast wheel.

Id like to find actual facts and not just random users on a website saying it though.
