Volk 10.5 Rim

Does anyone have a photo of the inside of a 10.5" Volk rim? Trying to determine if the 10.5" rim is a 2-piece barrel with a sealant and the method

Default Volk 10.5 Rim

Does anyone have a photo of the inside of a 10.5" Volk rim?

Trying to determine if the 10.5" rim is a 2-piece barrel with a sealant and the method of attachment if it is a 2-piecer.

For example this is a 9.5" Volk rim picture It is not a 2 piece barrel

Do you mean how the valve stem is attached?

Had those installed with the 09 TPMS and when I upgraded to 14 sensors the tech
removed them and banded the sensors to the barrel. Unfortunately, I didn't see how they were banded and now the rear tires wont hold pressure. So the question is: are they a one piece barrel or 2 piece barrel with sealant?

The 9.5" front rim is a one piece barrel.

I'm not going back to that tire shop and will have them rechecked to see where the leak is. I thought it would be the rubber ring on the
valve stem and a simple fix.

I'm coming to the conclusion that the tire shop that I always used, no longer has the same people working there. As a result they are no longer on my to use list.

I believe that when the tech, from before, banded the sensors he removed the tpms holders on the valve stem and didn't replace the washer on the volk valve stem.

I believe that's where the leak is coming from. Taking the tires to the pros next week.

Update on the differential.

Once again Alberta Driveline in Edmonton has pooched me on their work. The front pinion gear was loose and took out the bearings. I suspect that they didn't torque the crush nut and washer and it worked loose. Just like when they didn't tighten the ring gear bolts on the carrier and they were bouncing around the diff. All in all, poor work on their part.

Not recommended

Had new Michelin PS4 installed and yes the 10.5 volks are a one piece barrel with a center insert, thus making it a true 2-piece rim.
Surprised that Kal Tire was cheaper than Tire Rack at all in pricing.

285/35/19 & 275/35/19 sizes
