Could get a set of rotor caps and get some visual aspects at the same time:

Paint the rotor hat with high-temp paint, and make sure you spray past all the the rust on the friction disc area. Once dry, drive your car and apply the brakes multiple times. Your pads will literally remove any excess paint, leaving anything untouched by your brake pads painted.

Angelo, did you get new wheels? :yum:

Op, nothing you can do except get a rust-free rotor on your next set of rotors. Not worth worrying about since it's just a cosmetic issue.

I am running StopTech rotors on my Z which have a rust free coating, DBA and EBC both make rust-free versions as well

should have done this before installing. Using blue painter tape, cover the breaking area. use naval jelly to remove the rust using steel wool. once the rust is gone clean the jelly off with a petroleum solvent and dry off the bear metal. Now choose a rustolium paint of you color choice and apply two coats. That should keep the rust from coming back.

Long time, Waiz :hello:. No, I've had these CR2Ps for a while now. I sold the 350Z a while back, but still have the TE37s wrapped in RE-11s so I might put them on the 370Z. The only problem is, the offsets (+22) and tire sizes (255/285) are somewhat conservative for the Z34. I have some spacers somewhere, but I don't feel like swapping out tires.

Glad to see you still have a Z

Digging these wheels and your TE's would look good too!

If you paint your rotor hats with a good quality high temperature rust proof paint they will not get surface rust on them. This is the first thing I would do before installing new rotors. Did you install better brake pads?
