315 hoosier slick on the stock sport rears.
I've also run a 295 hoosier slick on the stock sport rears, up front~!

I've run 265/35 and 285/35 at one time, but dropped down to a 255/40 and 275/35 setup, as I much prefer the feel and grip from the non-bulged sidewalls.

I've never had a "vague" feeling on my Z running 18x10 wheels wrapped in 315/30-18 tires on the front. The trick is making sure you get a tire that has a stiff sidewall.

The only time I've had a vague feeling was when I used to run 295/40 tires. Sidewall height, IMHO, has more to do with a vague feeling than pinching a tire on the rim.

I run RE11 285/35/19 front and 325/30/19 rear on Nismo rims. I do not have any vague feeling at all. Stiff sidewall and tire pressure is key.

While I don't argue what you guys feel, having yet to break 15k on a set of tires because of where I live and what I do with the car, I notice sidewall flex and bulge. And I've been there with my old car and know the difference. I much prefer either a square fit for street tires or a slight stretch on higher grip tires.

Mostly, I want to be able to launch the car at the drag strip with little to no spin. I'm considering going with the RE-11s due to opinions of people on here because I have no experience with tire performances with this car. This is the first set of tires that I'm buying. I do plan to be making about 450whp with a nitrous setup in the future but, honestly, will probably have done went through this new set of tires.

If I can stick to stock sizes with the RE-11s and get really good traction, on and off the track at around 320whp, I'd definitely rather go that route. So what would you do in my shoes?

People stating they have flex in the tire, what pressure do you run?

The trick to this is dynamic rear camber on the 370Z. The more you squat the more negative camber the rear gains. If you really cared about drag racing times you'd start with positive camber...

Somewhere in the mid to high 30's. it depends on if I cared to check tire pressure or not, and what tires I was running at the time.
