Roads here are rough and I do enough country driving to rule out the 200 TW tires that are louder and stiffer.

Anyone have issues with Costco messing up their wheels during install btw?, still debating on letting them install or an independent shop.

I use American Tire. They will pricematch just about anybody you bring them.

Installed the Mich PS 4S 285/35-19 tires on the front today. Paid $301.99 each. Was amazing that I got 20,000 miles on the old PSS's, with 16 trackdays too. Have these mounted on 9.5 wide rims. Pictures in my journal. I see how these will do. :D

how on earth did you get 16 track days out of your tires? I think the max i managed was 4 on RE11s before they had a noticeable lack of grip.

About the 4th trackday. I notice them losing grip towards the end of a 30 minute session. After about the 8th trackday. I usually got about 15 minutes of grip before they start to go south for the rest of a 30 minute session. Then it becomes a real learning experience. :driving: Learn how to drive around problems. :driving:

That's what I'm sayin... I get 4-5 track days out of most tires.

The rear 325's didn't last that long. The fronts did. When I first started doing trackdays. I wasn't that fast or hard on equipment. So that may have something to do with it. Now, I not expecting that type of life out of them. If I did the same number of trackdays this year as in the past. Think now I would be changing them at the end of the year.

Hi xdragus, what sizes are you going with and which shop are you gonna use? Tires23 are a good bunch of guys. Give Benny a shout and tell him Nick his neighbour sent you. Let me know, I was going to hold off on the tire purchase but I have the Michelin itch.

Just ordered from my mechanic over at automatrix. Would have gone to simply tire or tire connection but they're too far despite better price.

I just stuck with OEM spec 245/40r19 and 285/35r19 since I'm on 15mm spacers all around already.

Edit: Automatrix was just about 20 bucks more expensive and saved myself an hour drive taking local

Ah sucks! Tire looks new too. No road hazard? First tires I've bothered getting the road hazard for are on the z, figure it's worth the extra 20.00 for a 300.00 tire

Hrmm think the dealership tire + rim warranty was about 500 bucks. I was planning to switch next season to the ps4s or re11.

Not sure if there is road hazard warranty over here in canada or i've just never heard of it.

Well new tires are on now and holy crap it's night and day difference in terms of road noise and feel from the oem potenza s001.
