I put on a set a few weeks ago. I don't plan on driving in the snow with my Z, but wanted something for the colder temps. So far I think they provide good traction, but you can tell it is not a summer tire, at least not when new. Perhaps when the tread wears down thet will perform a little better. I did not experience an improvement in noise level, seems about the same.

I mentioned that I don't plan to drive in the snow, but was at a dinner party the weekend before thanksgiving and it snowed. Most was melting on the streets, but there were patches of snow (over 30 accidents reported that evening). I took backstreets and tested the tires with accelleration, side to side motions (both done carefully), and I really felt confident with these tires. I have the sport option so the limited slip probably helped some. I was actually quite impressed in the light snow conditions. I also drive a WRX with dedicated snows for comparison.

The next morning I left the Z in the garage and rode my bicycle that has studded snow tires to work.

Overall, i am happy with the pilot sport a/s.
