18" on Nismo
Hey guys,
Having some troubles getting information on 18" wheels. A few people I have talked to seem to think that the 18" is too small bc of the larger brake caliper. I feel like their are a ton of 18" wheels on Zs but not sure if anyone knows where I can find which 18" actually fit? Seems the rear are no problem, but the front is where we have issues. TireRack doesn't even give the option at all to view 18". Does anyone else know? |

18 ' s will clear both front and back...these are the size of rims I use for my drag set up.....Also our spare is an 18 in rim.....

I only have a set on my rears for my Drag Radials and use the stock spare rims to run Mickey Thompson Skinnies up front....my rears are 18 X 10.5 +15 (Rear). From what I've read 18 X 9.5 +22 (Front) 18 X 10.5 +15 (Rear) will clear all around

Alrighty so I think I have it all set! I'm going
Gramlight 57Dr 18x9.5 front, 18x10.5 rear. R888s 275s on the front, 305s rear (this is for the circuit track setup) Mickey Thompson or Hoosier DR2s 305s rear. (this will be an extra set of rear wheels for drag setup) I'm a total newb when it comes to tires, does this sound about right to everyone? Anyone with experience see any red flags with this set up. Ty! |

So just found out the Hoosier Dr2s only come in 315/30/18 for the smallest size on an 18" wheel. Crap. Now I'm really nervous. Maybe a little fender rolling? LOL My tire guy feels confident it will fit, but I'm a little pessimistic on stuff.

It should fit..will you be running spacers with the new rims.

I run 315/30-18's Hoosier A7's square on 18x10 +30 front and 18x11 +18 rear TE37SL's. At roughly factory ride height I don't rub and haven't had any reason to roll/pull the fenders. Also no spacers needed.

Great taste in the wheels....in regards to the tires I tried both and ended up selling my MT ' S.....i wasnt content with their bite off the line....so ended up getting the Hoosiers which bite a lot better....this is what I use on my rears....I run the MT Skinnies up front. Quote:
