All Season Tires Recommendations

Thanks folks! Well.... I pulled the trigger Friday after 2 weeks of research and soul searching, so to speak. I know I'll probably get flamed, but I chose what some of you called a "cheap" tire. Yes - it was a cheaper tire than most. I could not believe how many what I call "cheap" tires out there existed with brands I never heard of (China made?) that were under $100 each for rear tires. So I made a choice on a brand I have never owned, but was highly rated as an all season tire and the cost was affordable. (Sorry folks - if you don't know my financial situation job loss/lower salary, etc. - do not comment). So...I bought the Cooper Zeon RS3-A's. So far - they are quieter than any of the other two tires that have been on the car. Dry handling and traction seem to be on par with either two previous brand (seat of pants testing) without really pushing them since they are so new. They look nice on the wheels/car. Beefy is the word that comes to mind - nice siping and water channels with a nice heavy rib around the center. Very stable and responsive. Seem stiffer than the Conti's and more like the OEM Bridgetones - which may change after broken in a little. So far I am impressed with a not so mainstream brand. We are supposed to get 4 days of rain this week, so I'll let you know how wet traction goes. Thanks for the input folks! Put up a review on them in a few weeks. This 300 plus a tire crap is getting old and they last 30k..... I think we are getting bent over.

I will Tadpole. I agree - I didn't want to spend that much (or almost) again to only have them last 12K miles.
