Spacer Questions...Nismo Wheels

I'm looking at getting H&R DRS 10mm front, 15mm rear spacers. Have Nismo wheels and stock size tires. My question is whether the H&R DRS studs will fit perfectly will the lugs/locks that i have on the wheels now...or if i will need a new/different set of lugs (such as open lugs). im hoping to make a decision soon, so any insight would help. thanks!

It would be safer to get extended bolts. I think 10 mm spacer is kind of the recommended cut off.

The 15mm studs will not fit with your OEM lugs, I am not sure about the 10mm's

A quality set of aftermarket lugs are well under $100, just get a set of steel ones and you will be fine.

DRS already have extended studs included with the spacers

I don't think we can run any aftermarket lug nuts on oem wheels, at least that's the consensus for the sport wheels but I think it also applies to Nismo wheels too. Someone correct me.

im not here to tell you you're wrong, but they do sell these collar adapters to make aftermarket lugs work on these washer type hubcentric OE wheels.

And I'm not comfortable driving with adapters on my nuts.

i was told that i had to stick with the OEM lugs when i purchased my NISMO wheels, so i will assume that i would need a different set of lugs if i go with the spacers. that being said, ill probably just drop it a bit and wait on the spacers; 10-15mm isnt worth the money for all the hardware at this point. =(

why would you need different lugs for running spacers? who told you that crap?

the lugs bottoms out and tightens onto the wheel, not the spacers.

if you're stock height, just run the nismo wheels without spacers. they are prefect for base.

Some H&R extended studs do not fit with the stock lugs, its in my previous link good sir.

im gonna be lowering withing the next week (Eibach prokit). here are the lugs/locks that i have:

i was under the impression that those were the only lugs that would fit with the stock (base) studs. since im hoping to switch over to H&R DRS spacers (which includes the studs), will i have to purchase a new set of lugs?

if the H&R DRS stud threads to jive with the lugs/locks that i have, it may not be worth it at this time.

im at stock height and gonna lower about an inch pretty soon. any insight into how the drop would look (Eibach prokit) without the spacers? the profile looks "good" as is, but im pretty OCD so im wondering if ill have an issue with the wheels and so no being flushed once its lowered.

it will looked tucked but my concern is you running prokits vs swifts. prokits will require adjustable dampers, they dont work so well with stock dampers.

leave it stock or gets swifts or go quality coil overs. no in betweens.
